Does anyone know the reason SFC removed anime from their line-up? They
were supposed to have 2 eps and a movie starting in Jan. Now no anime is
listed for Jan.

They switched it to like 2 AM. You know a show is dead when it goes on that
late.

Wasn't it on even later before? Didn't die then.

Death is inevitable when you keep showing the same tired old crap. Anyone
who watches "Anime Saturday" regularly has already seen their entire
library two or three times over. And let's face it, much of what they have
isn't anything to write home about. (ODIN?)

To be fair, they have some goodies in the library as well as lesser lights:
"Roujin Z" is one of the funniest anime I can think of, "EYES of Mars" and
"Venus Wars" are definitely different.

And of course, Project A-ko and Lodoss are classics. TMIL and Armitage III
aren't bad, either.

I wonder why none of their "anime week" titles make it into their regular
rounds... I certainly wouldn't mind seeing Beautiful Dreamer again.

Not none. TMiL and Ran were anime week movies, among others. Though, you're
right, they need to bring in more. I haven't picked up that Beatiful Dreamer
DVD yet, so...
