>hi... as of this time can you still find any information or write ups

There's a very-short writeup in the Anime Primer, with a link to a list
of longer writeups:

"I'm *not* a kid! Nyyyeaaah!" - Skuld (in "Oh My Goddess!" OAV #3)
"When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear
of childishness and the desire to be very grown-up." - C.S. Lewis
Off the top of my head:
"Genma's Daughter" and its sequels, by Deborah Goldsmith

"Ranma and Akane: A Love Story", by Eric Hallstrom

"Ran Wars", by Blade and Epsilon

"The Replacement Ranmas", by Angus MacSpon
http://shell.ihug.co.nz/~macspon/fanfic/
the majority of June "KaraOhki" Geraci's short-shorts

That's just off the top of my head, mind you. I'm sure I've missed more
good Ranma 1/2 stories than I've listed...

It can be found here: http://www.thekeep.org/~harnums/fanfic/
Also, no matter what Rob says, please for the love of god do not read "Ran
Wars". ;p

Blade
(Notice how I classily didn't plug Hybrid Theory- whoops.)

I liked it...

Of course not - it's too new.

So would I.
I have Issues with darkfic - Mark MacKinnon's "On A Clear Day You Can
See Forever" once drove me into a fit of indescribable misery, which
remains the single worst experience of my life - but I read Waters Under
Earth in its entirety, and although I would almost certainly not want to
reread it, I can say without hesitation that it is an excellent fic.
I don't have much to add to the suggestions so far, and most of what I
might be able to suggest either are crossovers of one sort or another
(e.g. Destiny's Child, which might not be old enough - I can't find a
date for it anymore - but if not is probably borderline) or fall in one
of several related categories which I enjoy but which are widely decried
for one reason or another (reasons which I usually objectively have to
agree with).

The Wanderer
My usual .sig is on vacation while I adjust to my new computer
Way too many to list, but two that might be old enough
"Destiny's Child" by Fire
His site seems to have died a couple years ago, but this story is reposted
on the below site:
http://www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Towers/5920/destinyschild.html
"Crippled: Body and Souls" which is a continuation of another work

I don't mind crossovers... quite like them in fact. I like Ryoga
centric fics as well. And crossover Ryouga centric fics = infinite
love. A few years ago I had a nice collection of links to those, then
my comp at that time conked out on me and I never went and found them
again. If its a really really awesome fic and newer than I originally
asked go ahead and recommend it anyways, I dont' mind.

I asked about this over on a webboard I read, and got a few more
suggestions for you...
"The Long And Winding Road", by Zen

ftp://ftp.gweep.ca/pub/anime/anime-fan-works/Ranma/ranma.long-and-winding-road.2.gz
"Ill Met By Starlight", by Susan Doenime and Mike L.
http://www.thekeep.org/~mike/imbs.html
"Shampoo 1/2", by D.B. Sommer

"Relentless", by Grayson Towler

"White Rose", by Aondehafka
http://florestica.com/aondehafka/wr/index.htm
There was one very dark fic that involved a police detective
investigating the Ranma crew over a series of murders or rapes. Does
anybody remember what the title was? I know I read it based on a
recommendation here.

That'd be Jamie Wilde's "Stigma." AFAIK, his and Bridget's website has gone
to the great big core dump in the sky, but the Fanfic.net Archive (not to be
confused with Fanfiction.net) has a copy:
http://archives.eyrie.org/anime/Ranma/
Search for "ranma.stigma.gz" If you go into the folder, then click on the
file, Firefox should be able to open it natively. Internet Explorer asks you
to save the file, but any file-compression app will open it. Otherwise,
maybe the Wayback Machine can help:
http://web.archive.org/web/20040907074611/http://www.gci-net.com/users/w/wildeman/
(Any later than that, and the whole thing is replaced with the web host's
placeholder.)
Just like Wilde's, Chris Jones' webpage (http://www.furinkan.net) has
vanished, replaced by a domain name squatter. Gah. Still, the WM has
archives up to 2006, and many of his Ranma fics are still there:
http://web.archive.org/web/20060507192948/www.furinkan.net/display.php?command=category&id=15
The "Pink Lemonade" stories are hilarious (warning: lemon,) "The Virus" is
an interesting experiment... but isn't on the Web Archive. That's too bad,
because although the "The Virus" story itself is easily found elsewhere, the
well-written offshoots penned by other authors are now extremely difficult
to track down.
In general, Mike Loader, Susan Doenime, Alan Harnum, and Lara Bartram's fics
(Transpacific Fanfiction -- http://www.thekeep.org/~mike/transp.html) are
very much worth anyone's time. "Pastpresent" is amazing, and "Ukyou Can
Cook"... well, it's unique, I'll give you that. :D
Kenko's "Girl Days" and "Paragon" are good for a quick laugh, though they're
both incomplete.
Nick Leifker's (http://www.thekeep.org/~nightelf/fanfic/), and Richard
Lawson's fics (http://www.sterman.org/) are excellent for their
psychological approach to the characters, although their usual premise
(Ranma stuck as a girl,) is not everyone's cup of tea. Similarly, DF
Ro^H^H^H, that is "Sinom Bre," has some excellent girl-Ranma-oriented
fiction, but they tend to be well-balanced in that regard and very, very
funny.
