I recently saw "Those Who Hunt Elves" and was surprised to see there
was a second series. So I started downloading them. Since "Those Who
Hunt Elves II" was done in the late 90's, I'm surprised there isn't
more out there on the web. Anyone know who the series did in Japan?

ADV has Those Who Hunt Elves II, and at one point I thought they were
going to start releasing them this year...

Still, after watching the first series, is there *really* any point
for a second series which is going to simply rehash the first series?

Jessica's voice problems, perhaps.

The second series returns the focus to "people from the modern
world journey through a fantasy landscape". Adventures include
mermaids, an encounter with a giant beanstalk, saving Little Red
Riding Hood from a wolf. And Junpei tries to prove the world moves.
But then, we also have Quest for toilet paper,
visit to an Elven girl's school, Celcia's transformation, and an
encounter wiith a gang who idolizes our heroes and seeks to
follow their example.

Well, considering the first series was only 12 episodes, why not?
Certainly, I enjoy the series for what it is -- goofy laughs with
little depth. In fact, I recomend it to anyone who's made it through
Neon Genesis Evangelion's ending (series AND movies)! *lol*

Still, you HAVE to love episode 2 of TWHE2. *lol* That and Excel
Saga #11 are just riots. But then, this "toilet" humor sometimes
cracks me up if done right. :-)
