I recall some recent (as in a couple of weeks ago) where the Sealab
ads were using Erik Estrada as a "selling point"....(I haven't really
seen much TV in about a week; switched to SBC/Dish and it took'em
a week to figure out they was using the wrong cable to hook it up ^_<
Doesn't have the Anime Network VOD, but out of 7 shows I tried to watch
there, 1 show came in clearly (Chobits ep), 1 came in barely viewable
(Comic Party), and the rest either didn't start, or was unwatchable
(as in picture screwed up), so I'm not worrying about it).
Well, if that "black-and-white" post/comment was on track, then the
"contract dispute" thing may be the closest thing; most likely they didn't
offer him enough, so he walked away (he may be C-list, but he's a god compared
to the rest of Sealab's VAs). Of course, leave it to AS to pimp Erik Estrada
after he leaves . . .
Funny, Harry Goz dies, and his character is sent to be a war hero; Erik
Estrada quits, and his character is killed off and made the illegitimate father
of a half-shark thing . . .
I think it was a money issue, he hasn't really been on since they got the
new Captain. I think they did the Sharko thing to rip on Estrada since
he won't be back.

It's been known for a while that half of Sealab is gone.
People are just waiting which are their last episodes,
like when Harry Goz died.
Mc Chris (Hesh) also left, to Seattle for his music career.
People are just moving on.
Williams Street pimping Erik Estrada is just their type
of humor - kinda like "Ha Ha! Gotcha!"
Like that Anime Talk Show thing instead of Squidbillies.
Laters. =)

Those were probably recorded before he left.
He had an open-invitation farewell party
at his Atlanta pad just a few weeks ago.
