Well, I was flicking channels today, when I heard something strange. While I
was semi-consciously flicking away, I suddenly heard the unmistakable music
from the anime series "Gasaraki" (Which I'm a fan of). I immediately stopped
flicking and much to my amazement, I had stopped at FOX 29, which was
showing an episode of "The Magician". I didn't believe my ears at first, so
I stopped and listened closely for a while, thinking that the background
music simply sounded similar to what I had heard in Gasaraki.
However, after the scene was over, I was absolutely certain that the
background music I heard in that particular scene in "The Magician", was
indeed background music from "Gasaraki". Just to make sure, I popped in and
watched an episode of "Gasaraki" right after, which only confirmed it.
I wonder how the background music from "Gasaraki" wound up in a North
American cartoon? Pretty weird, huh? ^_-;;

Um, which BGM was it? The one with Shinto chanting? (heh, I guess that pretty
much names 90% of Gasaraki tracks)

You wouldn't happen to know where I could find scripts for the gasaraki
episodes 3 and up do you? I just started watching the first dvd volume and
only have the scripts for ep 1 and 2.
Thanks
I'll bet you have those Fushigi Anime scripts. Forget 'em, they're 75%
guesswork and are missing many of the finer points needed for later
episodes.
If it's any help, do you want Japanese dialogue transcripts (all 2byte
SHIFT-JIS encoded) of Gasaraki 1-8 ?

Speaking of which, in the Magician,
there's a chara named Nausicaa.
(I don't know if that's how they spell it in that show,
but they pronounce it just like that.)
Laters. =)
