I'm looking for some Inu-Yasha fansubs, and the only place that I've found them
so far is at cuteworld.net, where I can .3k/sec with a cable modem. Does anyone
know of another place where I can find them? Thanks!

If you have a high speed connection (or am just VERY patient), go here:
http://www.sakabaanime.f2s.com/

Now, can someone please tell me who the hell is fansubbing this series already,
and how I can order some copies from them? (When I e-mailed the webmaster, he
told me it was some guy named "kevp," and he only did episodes 3 and 4. The
webmaster has FOUR episodes posted, already.)

Damn I wish I could cancel that last post. Obviously, as anyone who followed
the URL saw, the shut down. Hmm...I was just there 2 or 3 days ago...

Well, for anyone interested in the info, he HAD the first four eps. of
Inu-Yasha, fansubbed, in DIVX format.

So, to reiterate the original question: Where can I download Inu-Yasha? (or buy
it from a fansubber)?

Acutally, you can't get them
VIZ has already licensed the series.

Don't suppose you're going to offer...I don't know..any PROOF, or something? I
mean, we all know Viz (and Bandai, since Sunrise is doing Yasha) are in the
lead for getting it, but, unless they've made an announcement I haven't heard
of (or are just keeping it under wraps until a later date), no one has Yasha
for American distribution yet.

Besides, even if Viz does have Yasha, that doesn't mean fansubs aren't
available. I KNOW there are fanssubed eps. of Yasha out there somewhere....

Maybe he's confusing Inuyasha with Ayashi (no Ceres).

Or with the listings for the graphic novels, which Viz does have.

Viz has both Ayashi no Ceres and Inu-Yasha.
So consider them both OFF LIMITS for fan-subtitling.

There will be some anti-US industry groups that will still sub it....
look at the Escaflowne movie, clubs arn't waiting for Bandai.

*sigh* Round and round we go...

Until Viz (or Bandai) actually comes out and makes an official announcement
about owning the Amer. rights to the ANIME Inu-Yasha (Have they and I missed
it?), people will continue to fansub eps.

No, this does NOT sound like a previous post of mine in this thread....

Funny, My guest staff told me that Toshi was bringing screener tapes of both
titles to Nekocon. Sadly, work got the best of Toshi and he was unable to make
the con. I guess Nekocon was to be the Official announcement, oh well, maybe
Katsucon. I have common sense to know if something Takahashi was coming out,
Viz had it.

Here's her/his post again, since you missed it:

"Viz has both Ayashi no Ceres and Inu-Yasha.

That means, even if/when Viz officially announces Inu-Yasha,
there will always be people who'll continue to fansub it,
as there are those who still fansub Bandai's Escaflowne movie.
So official announcements mean sh*te, to them who won't wait. ^_^

Laters. =)

<snip rest of Stan's post>

Yeah, Stan, I know that people are still going to do it ANYWAY, I just didn't
feel like elaborating at the time. But his/her post is claiming that Viz got
it, but he/she didn't say HOW he/she got this info. Now he/she is implying that
they....what, run a con? Something along that lines? I'm not saying he/she is
lying, but he/she is assuming that we all simply KNOW she/he is in a position
to have that info (and maybe everyone else does and I don't. Could someone
please tell me, then?)
