I think that the key to the success of SnoO for me was that the writing was
always inventive and intelligent. The writers found ways to not only spoof run-
of-the-mill ecchi anime, but also to be able to spoof a huge number of other
anime and general film genres. And they did it in a way that made the ecchiness
a key part of the overall story rather than a simple-minded excuse for cheap
titillation.
So all-in-all I enjoyed Sora no Otoshimono a lot and looked forward to it each
week. If a sequel does appear in the future I will definitely watch it.

Episode 13
As the gang prepares for a Christmas Party that will also be combined with a
birthday party for Ikaros and Nymph, Nymph is tricked by two Gamma-model
angeloids into helping them catch Ikaros. At the same time Ikaros decides to
leave Tomoki because she doesn't want him to find out that she is a combat-bot.
Ikaros is ambushed by the two Gamma-bots and has her right wing blasted off.
Nymph is shocked by this betrayal and attempts to save Ikaros, but she is
outmatched by the two Gammas and has her own wings ripped out from her back.
Tomoki comes up to the scene of the battle with the rest of the gang and Tomoki
tells Ikaros that he already knew that she was a combat-bot and that didn't
bother him. He then told her that it was actually a good thing because this way
she could fight to save her friend, Nymph. At this Ikaros overrode some of her
mental blocks and did a full repair/power up on the spot. The two Gammas tried
to run and fight, but Ikaros easily overpowered them and eventually sent a
warning blast all the way up to the masters in the sky. At the same time Tomoko
and the rest of the gang cut the chain that tied Nymph to her sadistic master,
and every one on earth was left safe and together.
