An Urban Legends Slasher Fic By Stephen Schlueter
WARNING: As you are no doubt aware, unless you completely ignore these
warnings, there is a high level of violent content, profanity and other
Slasher oriented things in this series. You have been warned.
NOTE: Sukira Kurenai is a character I created when I was writing a follow up
series to Lisa Prior's "Sins Of The Father". His presence here is just to add
a little extra to the story.

Day Four: The Day Jenova Fights Back
Thursday The 12th
Akane still had blood on her hands. It was Azusa Shiratori's blood. The police
had come and the body was being taken away.
Aeris and I watched the whole thing from the house.
"Looks like the Jenova conciousness is doing pretty well for itself." said
Aeris.
I nodded. "Very efficient."
"Indeed. Ranma Saotome is the ideal destroyer. Powerful even without Jenova's
aid. I don't think this was just a random killing though."
"Of course not. Jenova wastes no time." I said "She was part of a rebellion or
something."
"It's happening again, Sukira." said Aeris "And we can't stop it. You realize
what this means, don't you?"
I nodded again. "Yes, it means we're going to have a lot of bodies to count on
Friday."
We watched Akane leave knowing full well what she was planning next.

Hinako Ninomiya was hardly prepared for what Akane would tell her. Then again
after Kuno mansion burned down last night with twenty five people inside and
Azusa Shiratori was stabbed to death along with a billion different things
that had happened in just over a month that Hinako would be getting used to
bad news.
No such luck.
"So let me get this straight." said Hinako "Kasumi and Ranma have been killing
all these people and they're planning to destroy the planet? That's pretty
feeble, Akane. Have you considered seeing the school psychiatrist about this?"
"I'm not crazy, Miss Hinako!" said Akane "Kasumi confessed the whole plot to
me."
"And why, exactly, did she do that?"
"Because she thinks we can't stop them, that's why. They killed Azusa just to
prove it. Azusa tried to help me stop them."
"If they killed Azusa Shiratori how did they burn down Kuno Mansion?" said
Hinako "I'm presumming that you believe that they did that too."
"One of them was after Azusa and the other took out the mansion." Akane
practically rolled her eyes "There are two of them you know."
"Of course." mumbled Hinako.

"Looks like she's asking Hinako for help now."
"So it does."
"What do we do?"
"I'll take care of it."
**********
(One.. Two..)
Somehow Akane sensed it.
(Jenova's coming for you.)
The presence. It was here. Jenova was here.
(Three.. Four..)
"Akane, what is it?"
"Better lock your door." said Akane in what sounded almost like a trance.
"What?" began Hinako.
Akane ran over and locked the door.
"Akane, what are you doing?!" shouted Hinako.
"Five... Six..." Akane muttered under her breath. "Get your crucifix..."
"I don't have a crucifix." said Hinako who was losing her patience "I'm not
Christian!"
Akane wasn't listening.

When Ranma-Chan entered the front door of Furinkan High wearing her black
cloak with one hand hidden from sight and her head lowered just far enough
that you couldn't see her eyes all attention turned to her. The lights in the
front hallway suddenly shorted out.
One of the students warily approached her. "Ranma..?" he began. Ranma lashed
out with her clawed hand and smashed him one to the side of the head. The
student bounced off the wall with a disturbing crunch before falling to the
ground.
"Stay out of my way." Ranma said coldly.
Everyone else immediately scrambled to get away. In the dark shadows of the
unlit front hall you could almost see the eerie glow in Ranma's eyes. She
chuckled to herself.
"It's almost too easy." she said.

The lights in the hallway outside Hinako's office were spontaniously
shattering sending long trails of sparks through the air before they hit the
ground and sputtered and died. Akane had her back pressed to the door,
listening to everything that was going on outside. Along with she sounds of
shattering glass and raining sparks was the eerie sound of footsteps coming
down the hallway.
"It's Ranma..." began Akane.
"How do you know?" asked Hinako.
*click! click* Someone was trying to open the door.
"You didn't really think I'd be dumb enough to leave the door unlocked, did
you?" shouted Akane. Maybe that rhyme would prove useful after all.
Not likely. Ranma's claws smashed right through the door just above Akane's
head. Small splinters and bits of wood rained down on her. Akane immediately
ran away from the door. Ranma's claws retreated from the door. Akane watched
the door intently. She was waiting for something to happen.
She was sure she heard glass breaking.
(In case you really need an ax, please be sure to break the glass.)
About three seconds later, Ranma was hacking away at the door and doing a
pretty good job. The door was slowly cracking and splintering. Maybe not even
that slowly.
Akane and Hinako made a break for the door to the adjoining office. They
slammed the door shut and locked it behind them and then continued out into
the hallway just as Ranma started hacking at the second door.
They had barely started down the hallway when they ran into Ranma.
"What took you so long?" asked Ranma.
"B--but how?" began Akane.
"What? You think I don't know how your empty mind works, Akane?" said Ranma-
Chan.
Hinako raised a fifty yen coin. "Happo-Fifty-yen Satsu!" she obviously planned
to bleed Ranma's battle aura dry.
Nothing happened.
"Are you quite finished?" asked Ranma standing there impatiently waiting for
Hinako's feeble attempts to cease.
"Why isn't it working?" shouted Hinako who was starting to really panic now.
Her special attack had never failed before.
"You want to know why?" said Ranma "It's because my energy can't be absorbed
by some simple trick." She raised one hand. "Now... If you'll excuse me."
Suddenly the swirling energy of Hinako's yen attack burst into flames and
attacked her sending her flying down the corridor.
"All too easy." said Ranma. She turned to leave. "Oh, Akane. If you want to
try and stop us you're welcome to try. We're hitting a spot in the northern
district tonight. I'd advise against it but you can go and do whatever you
want."
Ranma left down the darkened hallway.
Akane never did show up in the northern district that night.
