A Better Future

Part 1

Note: This takes place in alternative reality of Evangelion.

In the remains of a once great city stood a ruined skyscraper. On top
of this skyscraper stood a girl with long red hair. The girl was dressed in a
red plug suit and held a hand over the bloody socket were her left eye used
to be. As she looked over the ruins that were Tokyo 3 she began to cry.
She was the last. The last human survivor of Third Impact.
All the other's: Shinji, Rei, Misato, Kaji, all her friends, were gone.
"Even that bastard Gendo" she said as walked up to the edge. "Well
I'll be joining you soon my friends."
"Are sure that's necessary Miss Soryu?"
Asuka was so surprised by the voice behind her that when she turned
around she slipped and fell from the skyscraper roof. Realizing that she was
falling to her death Asuka closed her one good eye and waited for the impact
that would brake every bone in her body.
It never came.
Instead she felt someone grab her arm. Then she felt her body start to
decelerate. When she opened her eye she found herself looking at a woman
holding her arm. The woman appeared to be Ritsuko's age with long black hair
and large brown eyes. She had odd marks on her face and forehead and was
floating. FLOATING!
As Asuka and the woman gently landed on the ground; Asuka backed as far
away as she could from the strange woman.
"W-Who....What....what the hell are you?" asked a very nervous Asuka.
"I am the goddess Skuld, I've come to help."
"H-help. HELP! YOUR BIT FUCKIN LATE! HOW YOU PLAN TO HELP THIS!" Asuka
yelled waving her hand at the destruction around them.
"By granting you a wish; but only one wish." stated Skuld calmly.
"YEAH RIGHT! YOU CAN'T CHANGE THE PAST!" yelled Asuka.
"How do you know you can't change the past? I have a sister who gets
trouble for doing that all the time." said Skuld.
"Listen. I wish I could prevent all this from happening; BUT I CAN....."
Asuka stopped when the symbol on the woman's forehead flared. Asuka then
dove for cover as rubble and junk flew around the woman in a whirlwind. The
woman's head arched up and a beam of light shot from it straight to the sky.
After the whirlwind had calmed down the woman look straight at Asuka.
"Your wish has been approved."
"What do you mea....." was all Asuka got out before she was engulfed
in light.
When her vision cleared Asuka found that she was no longer in Tokyo 3.
Instead she was in an empty lot. Around the lot were nice small houses.
Looking on the ground Asuka saw a thrown out newspaper that looked
somewhat recent. Picking the paper up she began to read.
"The Nerima Gazette.......November 1st, 1997!...."
That was as far as she got before pain, exhaustion, and shock finally
made her pass out.

Part 2
Little Asuka ran down hall, headed for her mothers room. Her mother was
be going to be so happy when she heard the good news. *It'll probably makes
her all better.* Thought Little Asuka.
"MAMA! MAMA! I'M SPECIAL! THEY....chos..." Little Asuka stop seeing,
her mother hanging from the rafters.
Asuka woke up with a start. She was in bed. For a while she let
herself believe it was all a dream, but the irritation in what was her left
eye let her know otherwise. Despite the irritation, Asuka began to look at
her surroundings. She was in a hospital of somesort. The room had hospital
equipment, but it also had a home feeling to it that you just don't get in a
big hospital.
"Ahhh! Your awake." Asuka turn her head to see a man in his mid-twenties
enter the room smiling. He was wearing glasses and what looked like a martial
arts gi.
"W-Who are you? Where am I?" asked Asuka
"I'm Dr. Tofu. You were brought to my clinic several days ago by one of my
regulars. You were suffering from massive eye trauma, cause by the loss of
your left eye. Lets have look shall we." The doctor carefully removed the
bandage covering her eye.
"Well everything looks okay. I'll probably feel a little tender for a
while. Take a look." said Dr. Tofu holding up a mirror.
"I thought you said I lost my eye?"
"You did. While you were unconscious I had a specialist come in and put
in a glass one. He'll be back tomorrow to show you how to care for it. He'll
also bring a selection of others, although I think we got a good match for
now."
It did indeed look like her right eye. Asuka noticed however that the
glass eye didn't move.
"Now if you don't mind. I like to ask you a few questions."
"Uhh. Sure."
"Name?"
Oh! Soryu, Asuka Langley Soryu."
"Can you tell me how you lost your eye?"
*Yes. This giant white robot throw a 400 foot spear into the eye of my
giant robot and the neural feedback caused my eyeball to explode.* Instead
Asuka said "I...I..can't remember."
"Can you remember how you ended up in that lot?"
*This woman claiming to be a goddess sent me to that lot to save the
world.* "Ummm...No."
"Can you tell me where you live?"
*Eighteen years from now in a city that was built after this one was
destroyed.* "I ..know I lived in Japan but I can't remember were. I did use
to live in Germany."
"Hmmm. I think the shock might have caused you to lose some of your
memory. I think you should rest now. We'll continue tomorrow."
"Y-Yes. Rest....think."
"Just call if you need anything, I'll be in the next room." Dr. Tofu
got up to leave the room.
"Okay. Ahh Doctor?"
"Yes Asuka?"
"D-Do you have me on drugs?"
"Just mild pain killers. Why do ask?"
"I-I-I'm seeing this large panda sweeping your office!"
"Oh that just Mr. Saotome. Don't worry he's harmless." said Dr.Tofu as
he left the room.
*Harmless! Weird is more like it.* Although Asuka had to admit that Pen
Pen had been pretty weird too.
Asuka then turned to the problem at hand. *That goddess. What's her
name? I was so angry I didn't quite catch it. What was it? Scud? Skurd?
Whatever. That goddess must have decided to have me stop everything,
including second impact.*
*But how? I really don't know were to begin.*
*NERV?.......No, they don't exist yet.*
*Gendo?......No, even if the son of bitch was involved with second
impact he couldn't do it alone. He have to have help or take orders from
someone else. Still, I guess it wouldn't hurt to chick up on him.*
*The Antarctic expedition?.....Maybe, but they'll probably just send
another one instead.*
*The First Angel?.....Again maybe, but how do I deal with an angel
without my EVA?*
It was then that Asuka remembered something from her last battle.
Her orders. "Defend NERV headquarters from the troops sent by SEELE." SEELE.
They had started third impact, they could have started the second one as
well. She would have to find out more.
Asuka had just over two years before half the world went KABOOM.
She then had sixteen years after that before the other half went KABOOM.
Right now she needed information.
"Hey Asuka? Are you going to school?" called Dr.Tofu from the next
room.
"Ah....No, I don't think so."
School was the last thing she needed. After all she had already gone
to collage. Of course her degree was sixteen years in the future. What she
needed now was information, not school. Then something occurred to her.
*I can get info at school. Schools have libraries, laboratories, media rooms,
computers........computers with internet access!* Yes, maybe she should go
back to school.
Asuka called out "Hey Dr. Tofu?"
"yes?"
"Do you know any good high schools near here?"
"There's Furinkan High several blocks from here."
"Do they have computers there?"
"Yes, I think so."
"Good. I think I'll go there."
"That's a very wise decision. A good education is very important and
besides you might make some good friends there."
"Hmmm...friends" Asuka started to think about her friends. Friends
that were massacred by SEELE troops. Friends that were murdered by their
co-workers. Friends that were eaten alive by monsters.
"No Dr. Tofu." Asuka whispered "I don't think I'll be making any more
friends."

Part 3
Asuka sat impatiently in her entry plug. "What's taking
so long!" She said as she waited to be launched.
Apparently some group called SEELE wanted to start
third impact and had sent troops and EVAs to get ride of NERV.
Asuka knew that Shinji was in trouble and wanted to get to the
surface fast.
"O-Okay! We're Ready!" Came Maya frantic voice over the
comm channel. "EVA unit 02 Launch!"
The red EVA unit shot upward towards surface. When
Asuka's EVA popped up out of the ground the first thing she
noticed were the nine white enemy EVA units, the EVA 05 series.
They were gorging on what was left of EVA 01. "S-Shinji! NNNNNN
OOOOooooo!"
"NOOOOOooo!" Asuka screamed in her bed.
"Asuka! Are you all right?" called Dr. Tofu from
downstairs.
"I-I'm fine Dr. Tofu. Just a bad dream that's all."
"Oh. Okay. You better get ready, today's your first day
of school."
Asuka got out of bed and went to take shower. She was
now working as a nurse for Dr. Tofu until she found a place to
stay. She was concerned for the fact that she didn't know much
pass basic first aid. But, Dr. Tofu had assured her that his
last nurse, a girl named "Shampoo", hadn't known much pass basic
first aid and herbal medicine either.
*What kind of person names their kid after a hair care
product?* What really knocked Asuka out was when she found out that
this Shampoo's supposed boyfriend was named Mouse. "What will
they name their kids? Styler and conditioner."
After taking her shower Asuka started to get dressed.
Dr. Tofu had lent her some money for some cloths and school
supplies. She didn't buy much, only what she needed saving the
rest for later. Her new school uniform looked similar to her old
one. That being a white shirt and blue jumper. After getting dressed
Asuka then collected her school supplies, Paper, pencils, WEAPON.
Asuka had heard that the school she was going to tended
to get a little rough and had decided that it be best to arm
herself. She had seen it while shopping for school supplies.
It was a retractable hobby blade that sort of reminded her of her
EVA's progressive knife. One of the bonuses Asuka got from
piloting an EVA was learning to use various weapons including:
polearms, firearms, and knives.
Asuka wasn't fooling herself though. She knew that if
she was going to stop second impact she was going to need
something more powerful than a wanna-be prog knife, preferably
a gun. Their was a problem though in that privet ownership of
firearms was illegal in Japan. Even if it weren't she doubted
that they just sell one to someone her age.
Dressed and ready Asuka walked down to the kitchen.
Grabbing a couple of pieces of toast, she was almost out the
door when Dr. Tofu stopped her.
"Oh! Asuka wait."
"Yes Doctor?"
"This morning a woman stopped by, said she wanted to
talk to you. She left a card, some motor club. I've seem to have
misplaced it though." Said Dr. Tofu looking around his office.
Asuka looked at the doctor. "Motor Club? Who do you
think it was?"
"This real nice young woman. She had long brown hair
and funny marks on her face and her voice was just...like....
Ka...Ka..."
*SHIT!* Asuka turned and bolted for the door. Although she
had never meet her, Asuka had learn not to hang around Dr. Tofu
when he was thinking of Kasumi Tendo. The one time Kasumi had been
by when Asuka was awake was while she was buying school supplies.
Asuka had come home to find Dr. Tofu braking things and talking to
his skeleton "Betty".
*The girl must be a N2 sex bomb to do that to the poor
guy.* Thought Asuka. "Either that or a real life Snow White and
God knows those are extinct."
After she was a safe distance from the clinic she began
to wondered who had stopped by to talk to her. Dr. Tofu had mentioned
the funny marks on her face. *Could it had been....Skid?....Skate?...
Whatshername? Oh Well I'll think about it later. I don't want to
be late.*
Dr. Tofu had helped her get into school without Identif-
ication. She had to take the high school entrance exam but it was
easy(her Kanji had gotten better since moving to Tokyo3). Still
Asuka chose to enter the tenth grade. For one thing she didn't
want to stick out. Also having met the principal, she had no
desire to meet his son who was said to be in the upper grades.

*****

Nabiki Tendo was talking with her "lackeys" near the
school gate when she noticed a student she hadn't seen before.
Watching the girl with long auburn hair enter she thought *Oh
goody! Another customer.* Walking towards the girl she said.
"Hi! you new here? I'm Nabiki. If you need help I'm the
one to come to."
The girl just looked at Her then said.
"Oh. And how much will this help cost?"
*Okay. She's not stupid.* "Depends on the help."
Asuka smiled. This was just the person she was hoping to
meet, greedy and probably with contacts. It would save her the
time and trouble of making her own contacts. "Do you know any
computer hackers?"
Nabiki smiled. *At least the girl's willing to do
business.* "Of course. What do you want, test answers, grades
changed,..."
"I want to know what's going on in the Antarctic."
"OK.....Er..What?"
"I want to know what's happening in the Antarctic. I
especially want to know about any planned Expeditions unto the
year 2000."
"Ahhh...All right. This isn't the usual request. It's going
to cost you...." *She must be pulling my leg. Let's see how far
she wants to take it* "3,000 yen."
Nabiki was surprised when the girl reached into her bag
and pulled some money out. Handing it to Nabiki she said.
"Deal! Oh, I want this to be kept quit."
"Of Course........HEY! Wait a minute! This is only 1,000
yen!"
"That's right. You'll get the rest on delivery, no
sooner. Oh, and something else, I expect prompt delivery."
Nabiki fumed at that. *This girl's a sharp one! I better
do a check on her.* Not showing her anger Nabiki said.
"What? You think the world's gonna end."
It took all Asuka's will not to flinch at that. Instead
she turn and walked away.
Nabiki watched the new girl walk away. She was a force
to be reckon with and Nabiki had to respect that. However Nabiki
had always considered herself good at reading people and something
about that new girl bothered her.
Thinking back, it was the girl's eyes. One eye didn't
move at all and seemed to have no life in it. It really creeped
Nabiki out. But it was the eye with life in it that scared her.
The girl had the look of someone who had been to hell and back
again. Nabiki suspected that if she removed that girls cool
calm exterior she'd find a depression and anger that would make
Ryoga look like he was on Kasumi brand happy drugs.

As Asuka entered the school she bumped into someone else.
It was a boy in a red shirt and black pants. She recognized him as
one of Dr. Tofu's regulars, Ranma. Turning to her he said.
"Ah, sorry......Oh! It's you. How are you feeling?"
"Do I Know you?" Asked Asuka as coldly as she could.
"Ah...No. I guess you don't remember....OH-OH! Trouble."
With that Ranma turned and ran. Turning around to see were
Ranma was looking Asuka couldn't see what spooked him. She didn't
care either. Sure the boy had seemed nice. He had even been good
looking. But she was on a mission and was not here to make friends.
She had already made that mistake once, NEVER AGAIN! Still she was
puzzled. Why would he remember her? The one time she'd seen him he
was out cold.

Asuka stood nervously looking DOWN at her "teacher".
*That girl must be eight years old!* Thought Asuka.
"Class this is Asuka Soryu." Started Miss Hinako. "She's
just recovered from a stay at the hospital. I expect you to treat
her like one of our own. Now were to sit you?....There. In front
of Miss Tendo."
Asuka moved to the seat she was pointed to. It was in front of a
girl with short black hair. The girl tried to be friendly, but
Asuka ignored her. She could hear the girl mumbling something
along the lines of cold little bitch which was fine by her. She noted
there was another red head in the class who looked a lot like Ranma.
The girl was even wearing the same type of cloths. *Must be his sister.*
After having situated the new girl Miss Hinako began her
class. To Asuka's surprise, she found herself having trouble
keeping up with the teacher. Having always been use to a desk
computer or laptop, Asuka wasn't use to notetaking with pencil.
*Jeez. How they ever learn anything this way?*

*****

When lunch time finally came, Asuka found the most remote
part of the school yard to go eat lunch. She was about to open her
bento when she heard a voice behind her.
"What vision is this that grace the fair grounds of our
school?"
*OH wonderful.* turning to the boy Asuka said. "listen who ever
you are. I not inter..."
The boy not listening cut her off. "But is it not impolite not
to introduce oneself first."
"I am the rising star of the kendo world. The scorn of sorcerers
and demons. The defender of Akane and the Pig tailed girl. My enemies
call me Blue Thunder. I am upperclassman Tatewaki Kuno." Lightning
struck behind him as he finished.
Asuka was not impressed. In fact she was getting quite annoyed
and her temper was beginning to show. She didn't notice she was
subconsciously easing her hand into her school bag.
"Well that's nice. Now I just want to eat my lunch. Why don't
you turn around and LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE?!"
Kuno of course didn't get the message. "Ah...She has a fiery
tongue. Very well I CHALLENGE YOU!"
"Er...WHAT?!"
"If you defeat me I shall date with thy!" Said Kuno charging
with his bokken.
That was it, Asuka saw red. In an instant her hand was taking
out her "prog" knife. If this Kuno wanted a fight she was going to give
it to him.
Kuno was elated when the girl got up and charged with her own
weapon, obviously she was in love with him. Of course her being of the
weaker sex he decided to lessen his blow. He succeeded in hitting her
in the side, but to his surprise however she kept coming!
Asuka took the blow to her side. It hurt, but she had felt
worst. Having at once been neurologicaly connected to an EVA and feeling
the equivalent of having her arms cut off had given Asuka a good tolerance
of pain. Using Kuno's surprise to her advantage she quickly close the
distance between them. In a wide swing she cut Kuno's arm from the
elbow to the wrist. She then pushed the boy up against the nearest wall.
Placing the blade to his jugular, Asuka said with a voice
of pure ice. "If you ever come on to me with your Neanderthal ideals
again I will CUT YOUR FUCKIN THROAT!"
Suddenly Asuka felt her body loose energy as if it was being
drained. She was almost on her knees when she turn around to find
herself face to face with a teacher. The teacher looked just like Miss
Hinako, except this one was twenty-six years old.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING MISS SORYU!?
HAND ME THAT KNIFE THIS INSTANT!!!"
"B-But..."
"NOW!!"
Retracting the blade, Asuka handed the knife to the
teacher. She then look down at bleeding Thunder and then at her now
bloody uniform. *Great! Now I've done it.* Thought Asuka as she
was dragged to the office.

Part 4
As Nabiki approached Asuka at the end of lunch she
could feel the eyes of the other students on her. This didn't
surprise her one bit, for in the week sense she had arrived
Asuka had taken Nabiki's place as the Ice Queen of Furinkan.
Not because she ruthlessly blackmailed everyone, but because
she was one of the most unsociable girls in the whole school.
She never talked with classmates, always ate alone, and avoided
people in general.
Most of the girls were honestly scared of her. Kuno
had issued his standard challenge, that any boy who wishes to
date with her had to defeat her. But after the events of Asuka's
first day at school, none of the boys were willing to take him
up on it this time. Although Kuno had been hurt worst all that
blood had made an impression.
Asuka had of course been severely punished for that
incident, some what. At any other school Asuka would have been
expelled and probably even arrested for her actions. But this
was Furinkan, where violence was almost a required course, and the
incident did involve Kuno. So Asuka had escape with only a few
days suspension.
Kuno was now the only boy actively chasing her and
even he wasn't approaching her directly. Instead he attacked
Ranma for "The most evil spell he had cast yet!". Of course
Ranma didn't know what to make of it. Akane and Ukyo had made
nothing of it though, sense Asuka obviously wanted nothing to
do with Ranma or any other human being for that matter.
Nabiki had thought of telling Shampoo that Ranma had a
new girlfriend and seeing what would happen, but had thought
better. She had no desire to find out if a vengeful Asuka could
be just as violent against girls.
Asuka looked up from her lunch. "You have something
for me?"
"Yeah. You have my money."
Asuka reached in her bag and took out the money.
Taking the money Nabiki handed Asuka a folder. Taking the
folder Asuka began to file through it. "Ah huh....Ah huh.....
Hmmmm......Katsuragi Expedition.........Members........Gendo
Rokubungi of Nekomikoka University. I might need more
information on this one, keep in touch."
"Ahh...Yeah sure." Said Nabiki as she walked away from
Asuka as fast as she could without showing. The girl even made
her uneasy. At least Kuno had a reason for his madness. He
wanted Akane and his Pig Tailed Goddess. *What could she want
with information about Antarctic expeditions?*
What little info Nabiki had found out about Asuka
either spooked or puzzled her. Talking with Tofu-sensei she
had found out that Asuka wasn't entirely stable. Like Nabiki,
Dr. Tofu suspected that Asuka was hiding a depression that could
be harmful or self-destructive if not helped. She also seem to
be suffering from constant nightmares. Dr. Tofu had tried to
convince Asuka to seek help, but she had thus far politely
refused. He could force Asuka, but said he didn't want to
betray what little trust she put in him.
Looking at Asuka's entrance exam puzzled Nabiki. Why
was she in such a low grade? The girl had aced the exam,
scoring higher than Nabiki herself. *Hell. She can probably go
to college if she wanted to.* Asuka was obviously smarter than
she was letting on and was up to something. Nabiki would have
to find out more.

"Hey Gendo, how was your day?" Yui asked as Gendo sat
in front of her at the Nekomi Cafeteria.
"Oh same old, same old. Been taking care of some new
additions to the expedition." Gendo said. "How's you chemistry
project going?"
Yui sighed. "It's going slow right now. I can only do
so much at a time."
"oh? Isn't your lab partner helping you?"
"AOSHIMA!? PLEASE, he spends all his time chasing that
foreign girlfriend of Keiichi's. He's no help at all."
"I don't know if I can blame him. Have you ever met her.
She's one of the nicest girls I know."
"Yeah Whatever. So, tell me about the new additions."
"Well Katsuragi's little girl is coming with us."
"Oh?"
"Yeah. Seem's his wife finally divorced him and he has
custody of the child. Gokuu's also joining us to test his new
survival pod."
"You mean the one that's supposed to be nearly
indestructible?"
"Yeah. How much longer do you have here Yui?"
"Oh, I got about a year to go before I transfer over to
Tokyo University. I hear there's a good professor there named
Fuyuzuki....Gendo? Is there something wrong?" Gendo turned
around.
"Do you see that girl behind me?"
"Overalls, Short brown hair?"
"No not her, to the right." Yui looked around Gendo's
shoulder.
"Ah...School Dress, Red Hair with two red things in it?"
"Yes, I've seen her twice today. I think she's following
me."
"Oh really?" Yui smiled and in a cutesy voice said.
"Maybe she's got a crush on you. I think you're a little too
old for her though."
"RIGHT Yui. Maybe I should go ask her who she is."
"Umm...I'm afraid your too late. She's already left."
Gendo turned to see that the girl was indeed gone.

Asuka went around the corner and slowed down. "That was
too close! I think I better call it a day."
As Asuka made her way off the Nekomi campus, she
thought about what she'd seen. She left for Nekomi shortly after
school and had been following Gendo since about five.
*I wander who that woman he was talking with?* It had
really creeped her out seeing the woman who looked so much like
an older version of Rei. *Maybe that's Yui.* It had not helped
when Asuka had already seen a twelve year old Misato earlier in
the day. Also, Gendo's behavior caught her off guard. *Funny.
You'd think Gendo was a pretty nice guy.*
"Gendo is a nice person."
"Waah!?" Asuka turned to see a girl with long brown hair
and marks on her face. The girl continued. "Gendo is a nice
person. Although he is immoral, he truly believes what he's
doing is for the benefit of mankind. It will be the death of
his wife that will change him into the Gendo Ikari that you
know."
"Who are you? Wait a minute those markings..."
"I am the goddess Belldandy. A mutual friend from the
future has told me and Kamisama of your reason for being here."
"You mean...ah..Scale..Scar? Excuse me but, can you tell
me her name? I've seemed to have forgotten it."
Belldandy seemed to be trying not to laugh. "I've seemed
to have forgotten it myself."
"Well whatever. I got about a million questions to ask
you. Like why didn't she stop Second Impact!?"
"Because you didn't wish for her to stop Second Impact."
Asuka was a little surprised by that. "Er..excuse me?"
"You wished that YOU could have prevented all that."
"So she took my wish word for word?"
"Exactly."
"So are you here to help me?"
The goddess looked down. "I'm afraid not. Because of the
way you worded your wish, I've been ordered not to interfere in
any way. I'm the only one who knows your here and I'm not even
supposed to be talking to you. All I can do is give you a little
advise."
"Oh, and what advise do you have me?"
"You've been rather unfriendly at school lately."
Asuka darkened at that. "Maybe I don't FEEL like being
friendly."
The goddess turned to her. "Everyone needs friends Miss
Soryu."
"Look, I've already had the pleasure of watching all my
friends die once. I have no desire to repeat the experience."
"You don't think you can actually complete your mission
alone do you?"
"All right, Let's say I do need help. How am I going to
convince anyone that I'm from the future and I'm here to stop

"Maybe that's why our mutual friend put you in Nerima.
I'm sure you'll find someone who believes you there. Oh my, look
at the time! I need to get to my night class." Belldandy got up
to walk away. "Do think about what I've told you."
*A goddess taking night classes?* "I don't know. maybe.
I just don't know."
"Fair well Miss Soryu. I doubt you'll ever see one of
us again." Belldandy however, was wrong.

Over at a nearby temple Skuld busted into her room and
flopped on to her bed. "Stupid Urd! She doesn't have to make
fun of me like that."
Sure she was the youngest of the three goddesses. Sure
she needed her inventions to access her powers. Urd didn't have
to make fun of her though. What was worst was that even those
lowly mortals didn't take her seriously.
*Well, I'll change that.* Thought Skuld as she got off
her bed and went to her closet. Taking out a bag, she began to
pack. "I'll show Urd. I'll show them all!"
Two weeks ago Banpei kun's new sensors had detected a
temporal disturbance in the Nerima district. When Skuld checked
yesterday, the disturbance was still there. She decided she was
going to fix that.
"I'll go to Nerima. I'll hunt down this disturbance and
I'll neutralize it all by myself!" Said Skuld as she packed some
cloths, a few small inventions, some small tools, and all the
bombs and moon bracelets she could find.
*Maybe this will take my mind off my other problem.*
Thought Skuld. Skuld often dreamed of the future. Lately those
dreams had been becoming rather apocalyptic. She would see
massive floods, Tokyo destroyed in a mushroom cloud, a sea
of blood. Skuld had told no one of this.
*There's no way I'm telling anyone that I'm scared of my
nightmares.* Grabbing her mallet, she went to the bathroom.
Filling furo with warm water, she jumped in and teleported to
Nerima.
