I have a tank that is infested with these pest! How can I get rid of
them? Can I drain the tank and put it outside in the sun, and do the
same with the rocks, then clean the tank out completely. I want to

Be careful getting anything that will simply kill them all because the
nitrogen load from a bunch of dead snails could be detrimental to your
fish. I used to use them for fish food... a lot of food love crushed
snails and they are nutritious live food. You can crush them and throw in
shell and all... the shells will simply sink down into the gravel. I fed
my mollies, corys, gourami, and cichlids for years with them. That way
they are a perpetual food source. There are some fish that will simply
eat them for you... puffers for one.

I believe you can get some type of loach that will readily eat snails. A
good fish is the clown loach. It has a great personality and color and
should quickly eliminate snail problems. From what I've read about them,
I think.

Check your local pet store and buy a bottle of Had-A-Snail. I hear it
works wonders!

You can get rid of snails in a few ways. You can buy a Clown Loach or
other fish that will eat them or you can dry your tank out however
the latter can be very slow and not a lot of fun trying to find a
temporary home for your fish. To keep them under control you can try
blanching a few large pieces of lettuce and then putting them in the
bottom of your tank. After a few days you find that the snails will
migrate under the lettuce. You can then take them out by hand.
Good luck

I had snails in my 60 that came in on store bought plants. At first, I thought they were cute. Then they reproduced like crazy. I tried everything then gave up. After another three months, inbreeding did them in. I never saw another.
