Stress coat vote.

I have looked..... lots. I have yet to find anything other than an
opinion on this topic.
I bought a bottle of Stress Coat for my 55g w/ tropicals for no other
reason than Petsmart recommended it. (when I shopped there) I used it
for a while but not in the last 8 months. Chlorine is not a problem as
I run off a well. I know what the stuff is supposed to do but I haven't
noticed a difference since I stopped using it.

Google poll: How many use it? How many don't?

I used it for a number of years as I was told it was essential to do when
doing a water change so by my local pet shop. A ran out and forgot to get
some more, it wasn't until several months later I realised that I was
supposed to be using that stuff. I have had no problems without it so I
haven't bothered.

I would probably use it if I had to net any of my fish for any reason, I
haven't had to do that for a very long time. I notice most pet shops put
some into the bag when selling fish.
