Hello all,
My LFS is selling a Roseline Shark (Puntius denisonii) for
$45.00 U.S., but I've tried to Google the name and can't find anything. Does
anyone know anything about this fish? (Temperment, Tank mates, Max size,
diet, water conditions, ect)?
Thanks for any help.

Using google ;)

http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/pfk/pages/show_article.php?
article_id=137

"Water: This species is found in mountain streams where the temperature
ranges from 15-25°C/60-77°F. The pH varies from 6.8-7.8 with hardness
ranging from GH 5-25°, making it very adaptable.

Aquarium: A high oxygen level is a prerequisite, particularly if the
water temperature is on the high side. It’s fairly peaceful and non-
territorial and can be mixed with most tropical community fish. However,
there are reports of some specimens being a little waspish. Keep in a
group. Use a tight fitting lid."

Forgot to add - FIshbase says 15cm (6") for max length.

Thank you Kev,

I must be using the outdated version of Google,
I'll have to get the update...:-) hehehe. The article seems to be correct
though, because the one I am looking at does have a slightly differnt color
pattern than the one pictured...hmmm, and of course the kid at the store
didn't know much except that she though it could grow to "like um 40 inches
or so."
