Mine took at least a couple of weeks to start taking hold.
I chalk it up to recovery time from the shock of being
transported/transplanted.

New daughter plants took "root" very quickly.

If your "root" look long and stringy, then they are not
putting out the little "micro-roots" that start the process.
The roots should like a bit fuzzy.

Again, daughter plants will grab onto pieces of gravel within
a week. My adult plants are so firmly wedged into my Mopani
wood that I don't believe it would be possible to remove them
without severely damaging them.

Steve:

Weeks! What's the difference?!? Tie it on with some nylon thread and
then forget about it. It will grow, grow, grow -- and you don't need
alot of light. Give it some "Flora-Boost" (Aquarium Products of Glen
Burnie, MD) and it will be a rich green color form this iron and
manganese product.
