Hi, Cyn here.
It's been my experience that certain fish react (or all fish react to certain
ailments) by becoming, as you described, extremely aggitated and erratic
behavior. My black ghost behaved in such a manner mere hours before he died
from what I think was Chilodonella or other ailment.. The cloudy eyes further
substantiate this, which could be secondary or a part of it.
The stores have specially-made pills for the different ailments. Check them
out. They will give you a description outline to help you determine the
ailment.
Also, give me a few more days, and then I'll have my site up and running.
Definitely go to the store now, though. Your fish needs further and immediate
treatment (sooner the better)...always.
Good luck.
If you are scaring the fish every time you walk into the room, I'd suggest
keeping him in the hospital tank for a while, and leaving the light off most
of the time. Also, you may want to put a sheet or something over the tank so
that he doesn't see you walking around the room. Other than that, leave him
be as much as possible.
