Just bought a new tank to house my growing Mbu pufferfish. It was the
last one in the shop so they gave me the (empty) display model.

When I got it home and got it all together I noticed that the two
lighting tubes were different, one is the normal FW kind but the other
is a 'Marine Glo'. I kinda like the way it looks (blue) but am
worried that the Mbu and plants might not like it as much.

Can anyone advise whether or not he should be okay with the lights?

Cheers,

nut

Yep, it'll be fine... it's not uncommon for freshwater tanks to have a
Marine Blue - i have one at the back, and a white light at the front... i
have both on during daylight hours, and leave the blue on in the evenings so
i can see the fish.
