I've read all the faqs and spent hours searching, but i've not seen my
batties fin disposition described anywhere.
Here is what it looks like: The very tips of his tail fins are
blackish...about 1 centimeter of blackish shreddy looking tail fin.
Some areas of black have what might be a light gray fuzz...like a mold
growth perhaps?
Following the black tips and mold is white color to the fin...not
clear...which is what all the definitions of fin rot describe.
He seems very happy and healthy, but the "fin rot?" looks like it might
be increasing in area.
I would like to know:
0-Will this take care of itself and if so, how long?
1-If not self healing, what should be used to treat this?
2-How should this medicine be used and for how long?
3-Will this medicine(s) hurt the 1 inch pleco or the 1 inch albino corys
also in the 6gal tank?
4-Are there other considerations I should aware of?
My battie wiggles his fins in thanks!!!
I didn't know that live food specifically helped stuff like that....I
suppose i must remember that anything that occurs in the wild for a fish
is likely a helpful or perhaps needed dynamic to it's wellbeing.
