Hi
Two of my gold angelfishes have started to have red on the outline
of their body. I am not sure what could be wrong with them. I have had
them for about a month.
The pH is 7.7 and the ammonia is at zero. I am not sure what this
is so any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

p.s. I have a 70 gal. tank with 5 angelfish, 3 pleco, and 2 bala
sharks. I use the Aquaclear 500 filter with the appropriate media.

I have had four large angelfish for over a year, and occasionally, I
see them change colors from almost clear, to dark gold. I've seen red
along the caudal fins as well. I haven't had any health problems, and
I think this is normal. Usually I notice color changes after I've done
some maintenance around the tank, or if it's very early or very late in
the day.

Just check for strange behavior, and if they don't eat, then they are
sick. If they are still acting normally, don't worry.
