Watercolor Question

Hi,

I have two watercolors by Fred Thompson and one watercolor by Serges Rodan -
has anyone ever heard of either artist and if so, would these watercolors
be worth anything??

I find a listing for: Frederick Lewis Thompson,
American b.1868, paintings up to $5000.
I don't find a listing for serges Rodan.

A well-framed, well-done watercolor should have value.
I've not heard of those particular artists, unless the
Fred Thompson is the Senator/Actor, meaning that
you may find yourself embroiled in a political
financial scandal if you sell it ;)
If professionally framed, there should be a label from
the framing company. Perhaps they will have
clues.
