What we have here is a 1935 Schick Injector Razor Type G1, it has a brass head & a very attractive rectangular Ivory marble color handle with seem. It has parallel grooves on the blade guard. The Schick Injector Razor marked" Eversharp Schick." This vintage razor is marked on the circular portion just above the handle "EVERSHARP SCHICK" and has the usual two patent numbers just below the blade fence, serial numbers 1806087 and 1969945.
Razor is in Very Good Condition with a couple of small scratches to the head. The Model G is a great first injector. It is more aggressive than many DE, similar to a Gillette Old Type in my mind, but in the middle as far as the injectors. If you decide you need more aggressive, there is the Model E. Want something less aggressive? Models I and J will give you that. And injectors don't suffer from the huge number of blade choices to confuse the situation. Schick hasn't changed its blades design since its' inception.
The razor has a smooth brass head which is still shiny and looks quite good for its age. The handle is in very good plus condition with no apparent damage. If you never tried shaving with a single edge razor before you might want to give it a try may be very pleasantly surprised that the outcome. The injector blades can be found in most any store such as Walmart and many others. Made in USA
