"A Tired Housewife" by J. J. Offord

John James Offord was a London figure painter and illustrator.
Little is recorded of his early life or art tuition, however, by 1860,
Mr. Offord was contributing drawings to the "Illustrated London News".

Here he has captured a charming scene from everyday, Victorian life.
A large, warm, original oil painting depicting "A Tired Housewife" who has
fallen asleep in her kitchen while her children torment her with a feather.

... a scene to which every mother can relate!
