Hello all!

below are a few either acute actions or longer term excess materials. Please read through and let me know if you need or know anyone who needs this stuff! To see pics, please visit the Excess Materials section of our website. I'll remove the wood pictures once it has been claimed.

1. There is a large amount of wood that can be claimed. I don't have many details besides that and the pictures. Please reach out to me if you're interested or know someone who is. This would take up maybe half a barn or most of a small shed. This is an acute need-the sooner the better for this wood being transferred to a new owner. (I do have some feelers out so if someone claims this soon, I will remove the pics)

2. We have an excess of puzzles. A few volunteers have been making some very cool projects, but we still have 3 whole boxes of puzzles, even with this. (and it's looking like we'll have 10-15 each week!) Ideally, we'd find someone who can upcycle or use these puzzles. Most of these have known pieces missing-some only 1 or a few missing pieces. Many of them will be close to intact.

3. Along those same lines, we have many card games and small toys that are not able to be sold, (think Uno, Phase 10, etc) because either the cards themselves are missing or damaged or there's not an entire set. If this is something you can use, please reach out to me. (I posted one pic to the excess materials link) This will likely be an ongoing supply, so again, as many outlets as we can find-the more the merrier! Even burning these paper items would be preferable to landfilling, which is what is happening to them currently. If you have any ideas or even better, know someone who can use these-reach out to me!

Thanks!
-Terra

Terra,
Do you have pictures of the wood?  There might be some pieces that people would like to use in a project.

Also, saving card games where two incomplete decks can make one complete one.  I think we should hold on to them and see if completed sets can be made.  That also applies to other games as well, like Monopoly, Sorry, etc., two incomplete games can make one complete one.

I have created a small outdoor 'stove' as you requested, using the puzzle pieces.  I just need someone to try them out to see if they work and if we need to make more.

Let me know,
Pat
