I have just seen this article from the New Statesman, http://bit.ly/hAhSQk.
It makes some very good and valid points. But my main worry with this
is that it leads us in to something resembling Stalinism.

Yes, socialism and even revolution and protest aim to towards fairness
and equality, in the main. But, in the end, there always emerges an
individual or a group who claim to speak for everyone else. And
absolute power does corrupt absolutely.

I am always mindful of the words of Napolean the pig in Animal Farm.
"All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others".

That is a very interesting article (follow link below), and a very
good closing comment from Animal Farm. I am sure there are a lot of
good warnings from Orwell's work.
