Hi, Just to introduce myself... I have been playing around with
Rebol/Core on and off for a while, mainly on the PocketPC but still
regard myself as a newbie. I used to do some hobie assembler programing
years ago but it was Rebol that re-ignited my interest in programing.

Now Rebol/Services looks exiting. I have read the Rebol/Services
documentation and would like to try the examples.

I have core 2.6.0 running on a Windows XP machine and typed at the
console:

>service: start-service tcp://:8000

but this copy of rebol does not seem to know anything about
"start-service".

I'm missing something but what?

Hi,

Carl S. wrote into his blog http://www.rebol.net/article/0138.html :
"(...)REBOL/Services closes in on its first prototype release (Alpha
1), " on 14-Mar-2005 20:14 GMT ...

So I think you'll have to wait the first public beta version to try it
!

Just follow the action on the project documentation:
http://www.rebol.net/docs/services/
