Dave, the link you gave includes the lyrics.  The translation:

Twelve years I spent in Kokla and Palia stratona, and another five or six in Medrese and Karkoula.

The iron bars and the walls of the prison have brought continuing coug to my chest.

A but I was when I entered, then I lost my youth and I walked out as an old man.

Ι babble like the mad man, I know noone and like a lonely bird I wander around the streets.

All names refer to prisons, of course.  Kokla and Karkoula are new to me.  Palia stratona means old military camp, medrese is the islamic religion school.  Both sites are in the center of Athens.  Palia stratona was pulled down in 1932, from the medrese only the fence with a nice door exists.
