"The Hit" listened to music and the Olympics in the Firebird as he
waited for Leo to finish his shift. Leo quickly changed tires on the
freshly painted Firebird, before they left for the Melfort Drive Inn's
triple feature. They took the # 681 Highway through Brooksby to Star
City where they turned right on the # 3 Highway to Melfort. They were
running a little late for the sun, so the 21 Kilometres from Star City
to Melfort went quite quickly. They were radar tagged by the Melfort
RCMP slowing down to the Melfort sign at 94 miles per hour. He caught
up to them after they turned right onto the # 6 Highway for the last 4
Kilometres into Melfort just past Dees Restaurant. The officer
checked the trunk, but fortunately "The Hit" had drank all the
Canadian already! He could have said he knew, but he was just
thirsty. After the ticket formality, they drove slowly into another
problem, but "The Hit's" attention was snapped out of Ridgedale to the
Television computer and Crime Stoppers.

The Child's Revenge

Hello Mysterious Financier Hunters

I am doing a little system work in the Child's Revenge before updating
the labels on older sites. I have also added new shares to Google
Reader and Google Calendar.

Meanwhile, things have been going fairly well at 2170 Old Dollarton
Road in
North Vancouver, BC. People are starting to see how the Mysterious
Financier played the Hell's Angels and The Law.

The next morning "The Hit" checked his email to an interesting
proposition. UDI was interested in talking face to face about the
Onlineglass-com project. "The Hit" was invited to demonstrate his
project in Philadelphia Pennsylvania if he was available. It was
great news. "The Hit" let Garth know that evening, and he decided we
should meet with his mother in West Vancouver to possibly finance the
trip as a new partner in the Onlineglass-com project. They agreed
that they would meet with his mother on the weekend to see if she was
willing to provide a little seed capital to the project. Garth and
"The Hit" talked more about using the Winsoft Operator System Corp.
company, and they went to the HSBC Bank at 2590 Hastings Street East
in Burnaby to set up a bank account for Winsoft. "The Hit" replied to
the email that he would get back to UDI as soon as possible. He was
excited because UDI was doing claim processing for Farmers Insurance
in Los Angeles, and they would have the meeting at the wholesaler
Independent Auto Glass. "The Hit" went to sleep early to make his
10:30 appointment at the New Westminster Medical Clinic.

On Feb 15 TH "The Hit" awoke with Bertha by his side, and he vainly
hoped the noise outside the previous night was not the Mysterious
Financier's crew. He fell into the routine Onlineglass-com database
work, and he thought about the origin of the Mysterious Financier.
The accident on the west side of Paradise Hill was the last time "The
Hit" would see Don from Healy's. Don planned to drive "The Hit" the
rest of the way to Lloydminster, after they dropped off the tire at
the road construction bunkhouse west of the Frenchman Butte River.
However, he was able to ask a person who stopped for the accident to
finish their trip to Lloydminster with "The Hit" in tow. They
agreed. "The Hit" moved his bag from the box of the Chevy 1/2 Ton
into the truck of a full sized Sedan. They drove up the hill leaving
the banks of the Frenchman Butte River and the accident in the rear
view mirror. They were quiet during the 25 kilometres on the # 3
Highway to the Saskatchewan / Alberta border. They turned left at the
border for the final 21 kilometres heading south on the # 17 Highway
to Lloydminster. "The Hit" was quiet. He was unusually quiet. He
spoke when spoken to with respect. His mind was on the accident. Don
and "The Hit" drove hard to the bridge before the accident. They
started up at what "The Hit" believe to be full throttle. The Chevy
pulled up the hill the best it could with the 1,133 kilograms Terex
tire in the box. The little truck could take the hill, but it slowed
quickly as the car flew past them into a head on collision. "The Hit"
felt sick. He did not want to talk about it. Could this be the
origin of the Mysterious Financier? David was unable to come by this
evening after work at Pearls, and "The Hit" called it the day.

Guns and Murder

In Lloydminster "The Hit" finished his school year just after he
turned 16 years of age. He quit his job at the Lloydminster Co-op
packing groceries, because he knew Harvey's run was more than likely
to continue. He had enjoyed the Yamaha Enduro in the spring, however
if he was going to race motocross he would need a real bike. He
enjoyed spending time with Lorraine's boyfriend Gordon, and they were
able to do a little cruising in the country. He was a battery
operator in the Lloydminster area, and "The Hit" got along well with
his sisters boyfriend. Gordon introduced "The Hit" to several people
he knew as their relationship progressed, and "The Hit" grew up with
older people again. He always lied about his age, because he started
Grade 1 at just over 5 years of age. "The Hit" decided to take the
town drunks son's job back in St. Brieux after school was out in June
of 1977. "The Hit" boarded the Greyhound bus in Lloydminster, and he
was off to Melfort. "The Hit" finally decided what he was going to do
in Burnaby.
