on the propellerhead forum they were saying reason 4 and record are
compatible.

here's the skinny:

"We're just about to post our full Snow Leopard statement to the

All our applications are fully functional on 10.6, but please note the
following:

ReCycle - You need to activate Rosetta to make ReCycle work, just like
on any Intel-based Mac running Mac OS X 10.5.

Reason and Record - The font in the patch selector on then devices has
a display bug. The O, o and 8 have filled circles rather than hollow.

Record - Even though the Record installer might (wrongly) warn about a
problem after completing the installation, Record does run just fine.
You can safely use Record without any problems."
