Hi everyone
This Monday we're discussing the current state of the global economy with guest Prof. Tim Hazledine from the UoA Economics Dept. As usual we're meeting in Case Room 1, but because of another booking we don't have the room until 5:30pm, so we'll start then and finish by about 7pm at the latest.
We won't be having meetings on Thursdays over the next two weeks, since it's the midsemester break, but we'll resume our Thursday meetings on 15 September with Tim Dare from Philosophy talking about human rights (regular room - G25, Clock Tower East Wing).
On Monday-week (5 Sept) we're taking a break from guest speakers and watching a film during our regular meeting time - Monty Python's Life of Brian.
Finally, on the first Monday back after the break we're having our AGM (annual general meeting), including electing a new executive for the coming year, so it would be awesome if you can come to that.
Cheers
Richard
