This week: Darwin, evolution, art and aesthetics

Hi everyone

This week we have two guest academics joining us on Monday and Thursday. On Monday we have visiting historian of science Dr. Ted Davis talking on Darwin and Religion (discussing whether there is a historical conflict between the two views). On Thursday we have Dr. Stephen Davies from the Philosophy Dept. joining us to discuss the relationship between aesthetics, art and evolution.

Both meetings are at the usual time (5pm) and place (Case Room 1, OGGB on Mon; room G25, Clock Tower East Wing on Thu).
