Is there anything wrong with creating a site (/site) and then creating
a subsite (/site/subsite)? Or vice versa? I was trying this for two
reasons: as a way to control editor access to portions of a site. and
as we move gradually move our site into reason, we are moving smaller
sites first (/site/subsite) and will then move the larger site (/
site).

I've tested this in our dev environment, and it seems to work just
fine. I want to make sure there isn't anything I'm over
looking. The clobber warning when creating the site makes me nervous.

Thanks much,
Steve

It's fine -- we do it quite a lot, in fact.

The only thing to note is that Reason does not prevent the creation of
pages at the same URLs as subsites. If this happens, the subsite is
displayed instead of the page in the parent site (because Apache looks
up the directory structure and stops at the first .htaccess file it
finds that has a rewrite for the path requested.)
