We absolutely loved the Lava Zipline! Fun for everyone from ages 11-46. Challenging enough for our teenage athletes and mild enough for the careful Mom. The staff were very friendly and helped everyone feel confident. Tarzan gave me confidence to step off of a 60 foot high platform. No small feat for either of us!! We highly recommend this adventure!
This place is much more than a zipline. With the help of Keanu and Collin, Milan runs an engaging business where you get your money's worth. Milan is a great entertainer, Keanu asked everyone's name and then remembered them, and Collin facilitated and taught the proper way to navigate the zipline and ropes course. They kept everyone engaged for the entired 3 1/2 hours by rotating activities and not spending too long in any one place. The ropes course was well put together with challenges for all ability levels.
I've been on ziplines in the Smoky Mountains and at Lake Tahoe. This was the best of the three. Milan is a very friendly and professional host. Collin is a blast to be around (He caught some big snake and showed it to us all). There are two long ziplines high up that you do twice, There is also a crazy obstacle course that they have put together (don't feel obligated to do the whole thing. I passed on the last two sections). Even the ride out there and the ride back is fun.
My husband and I went today and had a blast. From the moment the big army truck pulls up to transport you to the moment it drops you off when you're done, you feel like family and friends with everyone else. I felt safe throughout the entire adventure, even when I had to step out of my comfort zone.
We took a group of mostly 16 year old girls with varying degrees of physical fitness. Every one of them zipped and tried the ropes course. The giant geodome, the drop from 65 feet...empowered them and we all had a blast! The staff adds so much to the experience! Especially Milan the owner. I highly recommend this adventure!

You can zipline year-round in Denver, however, some might suggest spring and fall as the best times to go. Not only will you get to experience the changing seasons, you'll beat the crowds and the heat of summer, and avoid the low temperatures of winter. Spring ziplining offers you the incredible views of snow capped peaks and comfortable temperatures.
There are a few options when it comes to ziplining in the winter. If you decide to take a high-flying adventure sometime between December and March, make sure you are completely prepared for whatever turn the weather may take. You will want to be outfitted in layers, thick and sturdy shoes and more.
The best way to avoid traffic is to book one of our "happy hour" zipline specials! These prices include $5 off our 4pm, 5pm, 6pm and allow you to zip through the trees while you wait for the traffic to ease. Additionally, while the traffic during the spring and fall is much more manageable than summer and winter, you may want to peek at the CDOT Travel Info to check on any delays before you hop in the car.
The best zipline in Denver is all going to depend on who you ask. For instance, if you ask us, we are going to say our Cliffside Zipline is the best Denver zipline. After all, it was voted the Best Zipline in the Rocky Mountains by Elevation Outdoors Magazine. If you'd like a more objective opinion, we suggest checking out the reviews of Denver zipline adventures on TripAdvisor, Yelp and Google.
It is always best to plan ahead and choose a time and a day that will work for your group. From there, decide if you all will package your zipline tour with rafting or any other activity. You can also plan where you will enjoy lunch in Idaho Springs and how to avoid traffic.

"Andrea and Mary were super fun guides and made it an easy, fun experience for my fiance and I! It was cold and they were troopers and we all had a blast. They take safety seriously, and all of their gear was just replaced which was great. The ziplines are fun and really fast!"
