Task: Investigate GIT
Estimated time to completion: 3 days

Investigate feasibility of using GIT as a revision control system for
the rex-NG viewer, coming from the perspective of a Windows+SVN
fanatic. This includes examining the maturity and usability of current
GIT tools, including Windows GUI ones.

Time breakdown:
- Familiarization with GIT concepts, practicing on test repositories (1 day)
- Evaluating GIT tools, including GUI-based ones (1 day)
- Wrapping up & documenting (1 day)
