Hi:
I've just joined the Sydney UG - great to find you here - and have a
question.

I'm building Bluetooth components to interface with MacBook Pro.

As you know, if you do a vPortCount then poll all the ports for device
names using System.SerialPort(vPortNum).Name, it returns all the
devices recently connected, even if they're NO LONGER connected.

Restarting the computer doesn't always purge those paired but
unconnected Bluetooth devices.

Does anyone know how to purge the Bluetooth buffer prior to re-polling
for connected devices, please?

Thanks
eon

Hi,
Can't help with the purging I am afriad.
Can I ask how you are interfacing the bluetooth devices onto System.SerialPort?
Are you using the MonkeyBread plugins or someother driver?
Cheers,
