सतपंथ के प्रचारकों ने इस्लाम के रीति रिवाज को हिंदुओं में प्रथापित करने हेतु से हिन्दू वेदों, पुराणों और शास्त्रों का अर्ध सत्य लोगों के सामने ऐसे रखा मानो पहली नजर में सामान्य मनुष्य को विश्वास हो जाए की हिन्दू शास्त्रों भी वही इस्लाम के मूल्य और आदर्श बतातें हैं ।

इस रणनीति का एक उदाहरण है, सतपंथ में मृतक की दफन विधि । पिराणा सतपंथ के प्रचारक ऐसा प्रचार करतें हैं कि अथर्व वेद और गरुड पुराण में भूमि दाह का प्रमाण है, इस लिए सतपंथीयों को भूमि दाह करना चाहिए ।

उन्होंने अथर्व वेद और गरुड पुराण का “अर्ध सत्य” लोगों के सामने रखकर हिन्दू समाज के साथ छल किया है ।
