Hi,

I have unsubscribed but I'm still getting emails. Please remove me
from the list.

Cheers,
Terry

It looks like it takes a while for messages to come through.
If you unsubscribe then you may still get a few messages.

When I try to unsubscribe to this group my email address is not found.
I get inundated with e-mails I do not want.

Please inform me on how to unsubscribe

Hi Ray,

It's normally http://groups.google.com/group/REALopen/subscribe
I removed your subscription.

Keith,

I believe there is some kind of flaw in Google's subscription system, which makes it difficult (ifnot impossible) to unsubscribe if you came to the list only through a mail invite, and not by active subscription.

It is probably best if you manually unsubscribe people who have problems.

If possible, it might be also a good idea if you could set up some kind of mail footer with unsubscribe information (and the hint to contact you directly in case of problems)

The biggest cause of trouble in the world today is that the stupid
people are so sure about things and the intelligent folks are so full
of doubts.

Another suggestion is to make it so other members
don't get the unsubscribe emails every time a member
tries to unsubscribe.

This is VERY annoying and is still happening.

Thanks.

LOL it sure is, and not much I/we can do about it at the moment.

I've sent a request in to googlegroups tech support on how to add a
footer to each outgoing method. I don't mind unsubscribing people if
they find it hard to do it themselves, but I'd prefer they actually
try to unsubscribe first. One reason why I chose googlegroups for the
realopen list because of the ease of admin :-)

Google groups has the ability to automatically subscribe people to the
list, this I did NOT do. I sent out invites instead.
