Thanks for the invitation.
I started a SW business with another individual. He is the "master"
coder.. I just come up with concepts and plans... and do some minor
coding. I hope to contribute what I can to the group.
My current job is Director of Technology, and I have 20 years
experience in the tech field, but, alas, I am pretty new to RB and
coding in general. My specialty is actually servers, planning and
implementation... and the most important, the "vision thing".
Our web site (Not actually open for business just yet) is
www.coachstat.com. We will have a few titles up real soon. Pardon the
lousy design... everything is still under development.

Ignoring the minor detail that clicking on the page doesn't really do
anything, I actually like the lousy design. Very attractive.

:)
Like I said... pretty early in the development of this whole thing.
Don't need no stinkin' working links.
Starting a company is CRAZY hard. Too many details I'm not willing to
see through. But I actually did it for fun, not profit.

I hope you profit as well, otherwise there is no fun :-)

In my experience, unless you can find a way to get the fun out if, it is
very much more difficult to ever find a way to get and sustain the profit.

Hello all,

thanks for the invitation, I think it is a great idea to have a group
like this. Like, I always want to follow the NUG list, but I just can't
bear it to get hundreds of emails every day. There is just too much traffic.

So I hope this becomes a high-quality but somewhat lower bandwidth
discussion group for RB users. And I will try to do my best to support
it. Promise.

One thing, though: because the invitation went to this mail address
here, but then I rather signed up with my GMail accound, I am now
subscribed twice (odd!). Even odder, I can not unsubscribe from this
account.

Could somebody pls. kick this account off the list - and if you want to
contact me, use sasch...@gmail.com. Otherwise chances are your mail
just ends up in my spamfilter.

All the best

/sascha

I am expecting much the same.

Hanging on the wall of my office:

"Most people think that success leads to happiness, when really it is
happiness that leads to success."

This, however, may be offset by what's right next to the computer:

"Consulting: If you're not a part of the solution, there's good
money to be made in prolonging the problem."
