Does Reality have an equivalent English LIST command modifier to the old General Automation Power95 BROWSING modifier?

Robert,
I'd have to see to Power95 documentation to be sure, but I believe what you are looking for is the "Gn" modifier which would actually be used on a SELECT command run before your LIST command.
For Example:
SELECT CUSTOMER WITH LAST.NAME = "B]" (G100)
>100 Items Selected
LIST CUSTOMER LAST.NAME PHONE.NUMBER

Hope that helps.
Regards,
Bob

It’s function was to permit paging forward and backward through a report generated by the ENGLISH LIST or SORT command.

For example:

SELECT CUSTOMER WITH STATE = “TEXAS”

>600 Items Selected

LIST CUSTOMER NAME STREET CITY STATE ZIP BROWSING

The LIST command generates a report that is approx 27 pages long on a green screen terminal display. The user can page forward 10 pages and backup 2 pages so on and so forth before reaching the end of the report.

Thanks,

Bob

Reality does not support this functionality but it would be easy to write in DataBasic.
