No matter what sort of blog you may have...whether it's prose, poetry,
photography/art, cooking, etc...I'll bet you there's someone,
historically speaking, with whom you'd like to sit down and chat about
this and that. Maybe you're an amateur chef and would get a kick out
of baking bread then breaking bread with someone like Chef Tell (come
now, no matter if you're a classically trained chef of just a person
who loves to throw on an apron and go all out, you must know who he
is!).

Maybe you're a 'serious' writer. Perhaps you'd like to sit down with
someone like Fitzgerald and pick his brain or have tea with one of the
Bronte sisters.

Artist/Photographer--surely you'd get excited to interview Picasso,
Rembrandt, Warhol, Ansel Adams...

Political bloggers...we know you're out there...maybe you'd like to
have a cup of Joe with Edward R Murrow?

I think you get the general idea.

Now what to do with this idea? Interview them. Yes, you can
interview the dead...do a little 'character analysis' learn about them
and who they were, their quirks, their passions and then play both
parts YOU the Blogger and YOU the character. What would you say?

Take this seriously now...it's fodder for a new 'goodie' on our Group
Blog Site...and let me just say 'CONTEST' Ooops, did I say too much?
Drat!

But we need WAY more members both here on our Google Group site and at
the official RBU: The Group Blog so I urge each of you 14 members here
at our Google Group site to encouage at least 2 other writers (if
they're not bloggers, yet, maybe we can turn them towards the future
of the medium of blogging!) to join. And oooh, the idea I have in
mind is actually pretty good. I'll tell you more during the first
week in October.

Now, please expound upon this message. Ponder. Pose questions. Try
your best to get me to reveal the nifty new idea for our group of
merry bloggers! Isn't the suspense just killing you? :o)

Cheers to ya,
Avery
