I suffered quite a lot this week with a somewhat overbearing workload
- six hours total sleep over almost four days.

I just about managed to stay awake long enough to write a couple of
short posts while on the train, but keeping up with my RBU commitments
slid embarassingly. After sending out a big email ranting about people
not pulling their weight I wound up missing the deadline myself - and
forced myself to stay awake long enough to write one and slid it in
late!!

What I wound up doing when I was too tired to write this week was
write - but is that the right way?

Is it better to sleep and come back writing better?

What else can you do?

  • Determine how motivated you are to write.
  • Make writing one of the first things you do each day.
  • Set realistic goals.
Elaborate about the circumstances under which you wrote and sent the rant.

For me it's always on "when I feel like" basis. Blogging is one of the things I do not have to do, and I want it to stay like that

Absolutely the right attitude - it is a hobby - and hobbies are supposed to be fun

Bliss! Luxury and liberty to blog is a virtual private island.
