DOES GOD EXIST?
Faith is a vital aspect to healthy human beings. It gives us a foundation for purpose and direction. For that reason it is important to grow in faith. A more developed faith allows one to understand God and what he is doing in our world today.
People ask, "Does God Exist?" Can men and women living in the 21st century really believe God? The Oak Tree Church is offering a series of video presentations by a former atheist. Listed below are some of the topics that will be covered in a 25-minute video. These multimedia lectures are part of a series designed to demonstrate that science and faith are friends and not enemies.
Your presenter is a public high school science teacher, not a minister. He was an atheist for many years, but came to believe in God through his studies in science. He knows what students are being taught in public schools and the pressures parents face in teaching their kids about God. This would be good for students to see as well.
These lessons will be starting this Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. at Crossroads College (in the Academic Building) 920 Mayowood Rd SW, Rochester, MN. There is no charge and if you would like to know about other times of showing, please contact the Oak Tree Church.
We can share these with you by audiotape or CD if you contact us.
