to Real Estate Extension for schema.org
I'm currently acting as webmaster for 3 Estate Agencies so when the
schema.org announcement came out a week ago, I was quite excited about
the prospect of getting individual property pages better recognised by
the Search Engines instead of concentrating on the home page and other
top level pages.

It was a bit of a disappointment that there seemed no way to easily
link details on the property itself (Place related) and details for
any listing properties (Offer & Product) related.

To get recognised by the search engines, I'm assuming that it will be
necessary to adopt the existing schemas initially, which is why I've
simply gone through CreativeWork initially, however if it is valid to
simply use Thing as the top itemtype, then it would be possible to
avoid this extra layer.

As discussed on the main group, there is certainly a need for
additional data classification in regard to Realtor / Estate Agent
requirements and there seems to be some support for this.

So I hope we can work to define a RealEstate extension that may
eventually be integrated into schema.org

Hi skygod, I was just doing some research on using schema.org for reat estate listings and noticed that you were looking for the same information a while back.  Were you able to find a good solution for marking up real estate listings with schemas?
