Hello friends:

Last month's "cultural" event was attendance at the Buttcracker. It was awesome and transformative. This month's will be the celebration of the life and work of Scotland's national poet, Robert Burns, whose birthday is January 25th.

See the link for a quick summary of what Burns night entails.

For the last three years I've attended a dinner at Flora in Arlington; however, due to the cost and the age of those who usually attend, this year I'm going to go the one at the Burren. It's way cheaper and I imagine the crowd will be 20s and 30s rather than 50s and 60s.

If you can make it, that'd be rad!

Iain

Iain, I thought you felt more at home with people in their 50s and 60s?

This was a blast last year! I highly encourage to anyone who can make it. I, unfortunately, cannot this time around :(

Ahem. Iain was very well liked by the older (female) crowd, as I recall . . .
