WhatI can absolutely not figure out, how to sync my Samsung Calendar (or any other calendar App) with the Windows build in one. It works great with my iPhone. I am logged into Windows with my Microsoft Account and I was able back then to add iCloud as an Account to Calender and Contacts. But I am not able to do this with the Samsung Account. My last solution would be to sync Google Calender with Samung and Windows Calender, but this is divinity not my prefered way.

Are there other, better solutions? This is such a simple task and I can not image it is not possible.

Hey, I don't know if you already found the solution to it yet..However the solution is actually quite simple. You know you can actuallyy sync your samsung calendar with google right? So if you haven't done it or now sure, just go to the calendar app on your phone and click on the 3 line on the top left..right under your samsung account, there should be a google account..and voila..so anything you right on samsung calendar should appear on google calendar and vice versa..you can access google calendar on chrome or any website..

However, there are some apps that connect exclusively with "My Calendar". Of course, on the My Calendar App ON THE PHONE, one can sync other calendars and other calendars will appear on the My Calendar App so you can see other calendars on your phone, while using the app.

However, just because one can SEE it on the My Calendar App on the phone, does not mean that the schedule/task/etc. was actually made ON the My Calendar. Thus, when other 3rd party apps, such as FitBit, which only retrieves information from the proprietary calendar app on the phone (for Samsung Galaxy, that would be the My Calendar App), so it only shows what was made ON My Calendar, not "what-shows-up-when-you-open-My-Calendar-App-on-the-phone".

We're looking for method to ACTUALLY open My Calendar on the PC, then make adjustments on the PC, then have that appear on the app itself, under My Calendar, and not under, say "Google Calendar" that is merely synced and displayed in the app.

I hope Samsung will have the courtesy and sufficiently competent staff to explain in detail why the latest gen 4 Book Pro 16 camera setup does not support windows hello. This is an expensive laptop and the first I have owed that doesn't support windows hello.

i have a Samsung Galaxy Book 2 pro 360 purchase in January 2023, everything was working ok until the Windows 22 22H2 update installed earlier today, now when trying to open the Samsung Update application I get a message " would you like this to make changes to your computer" then followed by " Samsung Update not responding.

Just in case the issue is persisting, please can you upload a photo or screenshot showing the error message you've encountered? If you could elaborate on any steps that you've tried so far, that should save us from asking you to replicate anything.

Hey, I'm having this same issue. When I tried to open Samsung update, it brought up the windows alert of "trying to make changes on hard drive..." multiple times. Then it eventually got to the screen with the loading icon, but just stuck there loading. Tried closing and reopening, also restarting the laptop but same issue. Is this what is happening with yours? Did you find a fix or anything else out about this? Thanks!

I had the same issue on my Galaxy Book3 Pro (having a fresh install by using the recovery image, then all current Windows updates applied). After a morning boot I've got Samsung Update complaining and suggesting a restore / restart, and Microsoft Store was also indicating that no apps are installed at all... I finally ran wsreset.exe in a command prompt to reset the MS Store cache, and that fixed both issues. It seems that these symptoms might come back from time to time - but I haven't found the original reason yet...

Im having this problem as well, is there any solution now?

This is what i tried:

Copying WMVCORE.dll to system32 folder (Still telling me WMVCORE.dll Error)

Copying WMVCORE.dll to samsung dex folder (Error 0xc000007b)

Unable to install windows media player and adding feature doesnt show Windows media player

I got all the files needed for the installation, apparently you need:

WMVCORE.dll, DRMClien.dll, WMASF.dll, WMIDX.dll

You need all those four dll files for the 32bit system, put them on the samsung dex folder and your good to go. I downloaded all mine from wikidll.com

I have a Samsung Ativ Book 6 NP680Z5E-X02US and recently updated to Windows 10. It uses Intel HD 4000 Graphics and has and AMD Radeon 8770M graphics card. Since updating I am no longer able to adjust screen brightness.

I have tried uninstalling the monitor and restarting. Updating all the graphics drivers. Disabling/Enabling the generic PnP monitor in device manager. Changed all of the power settings. The monitor still stays at what seems to be 100% brightness.

I recently updated W10 to anniversary edition and ran into this issue yet again. I have no idea how I was able to resolve it last time. I attempted to uninstall, and reinstall all drivers from Samsung over again, in various orders, running the Win10 Brightness Control Patch each time provided by Samsung Update, but in each case, never yielded results. I should also note that I've also disabled adaptive brightness in display options and also my power options plan. This was required the first time I got this working so I made sure those settings were changed back after the update reverted them.

There are other "control sets" other than the CurrentControlSet. I wound up changing them all to f008 prior to a reboot. Though I suspect the CurrentControlSet is all you will need.

I have a similar model NP680Z5E-X03US. Brightness control is completely unavailable using any version of either the Intel or Radeon display drivers. Neither keyboard control, system settings, display control, nor any other kind of brightness control will work.

Solved the issue. You need to install Samsung Settings VERSION 3.1To find this you will have to use samsung update and search in other models drivers and programs list. Mine Ativ 6 is XD1BR and I used the Samsung Settings softwre found in XF3BR list.

You can try [alt] + [fn] + [f4] which I found in Easy Display Manager's Option window. I didn't know what would happen but the screen cycled through various appearances and suddenly the [fn] + brightness buttons worked like a charm!

I just finished my fist own Pc build on a Maximus Z790 Hero and i have the following Problem:

I have 3 M.2 SSDs in my PC (WD_Black SN850X 1TB; Samsung 980 Pro 1TB, Samsung 990 Pro 2TB), and in bios and device manager i see all three, but in windows i see only the 1TB ones, the 990 Pro doesnt show for some reason.

I#ve already tried a lot of stuff but i cant find it. I tried swapping the M.2 slots, wich didnt change anything. I looked in Disk Management, but it doesnt appear there as well. But i can find it in CrystalDiskInfo, where ist shows 100% Status and zero reads and writes. But it also shows no Drive Letter.

I really dont know what else to try or if there is a realy seay solution to my problem. Its my first pc that im setting up, but everything esle worked just fine, except this one thing. I really hope someone can help me out.

Hello again, after updating the drivers make sure you restart your computer and then you should have a bar like in the image belown in disk management, instead of blue like the rest of your drives it has a black bar, if it's there simply right click ---> New Simple Volume ----> Next ----> Next ----> Assign a letter and press Next again ----> Next ----> Finish.

Now if you don't have a black bar drive like the one shown in the image, make sure your motherboard BIOS are updated. If that still doesn't make it pop up, try this article i found which has a variety of solutions: -ssd-not-initialized-8523.html

Side note: The fact that you can't see it in file explorer means the drive has no partition, which is normal for a fresh drive, once you create a partition it should pop right up in File Explorer. My best guess is your 990 Pro is alive and kickin' and just needs a partition to be created (assign volume as stated above etc etc)

If it's right out of the box, normally it should show up without much hassle, i just finished my build 10 days ago and installed the same nvme. What i personally did upon first boot after not seeing the drive in windows was to create a partition for the drive in the "Disk Managment" tab. Keep in mind you first need to download "Samsung Magician" (Samsung's drive software) and update the drivers necessary for the SSD to run. After proceeding with these 2 steps your drive should be ready to go.

Hello, first thanks for your answer. I downloaded Samsung Magician and updated one driver. Afterwards i started Disk Management and my SSD still doesnt show up. Any other ideas what could cause this? I bought the SSD form someone, but he also sold me the 980 pro wich works just fine. Could it be that he cleaned the ssd and thats why it doesnt show up?
