Ifno page numbers are listed on the pages themselves, you can check the table of contents to see the page number associated with the beginning of each chapter. Starting with that page number, you can count to determine the number for the page you're on.

Some ebooks do not display page numbers in either place, so you may need to follow the guidelines for your specific citation style in order to cite an ebook source without page numbers. For information about citing sources, visit the Writers' Studio via Blackboard.

An ebook landing page is a page that's sole focus is to get people to download your ebook. This could be a free ebook that you're giving away to collect leads, or a paid ebook that you're trying to sell.

It's a page that's separate from your website, with no links, menus, or distractions that will pull visitors away from the page. It simply sums up your ebook, discusses the benefits, and provides visitors with an easy way to download it.

That's a big difference, which shows just how much people value ebooks. Keep in mind that if you're giving an ebook away for free you can expect a higher conversion rate, while if you're selling an ebook expect a lower conversion rate lower than this.

If you want people to download your ebook, you need to make it as easy as possible. This means reducing the number of fields in your download form, avoiding sending people to another page or site if possible, and offering a quick and seamless checkout if you plan on selling your book.

As you saw from our examples, social proof is an important part of a high-converting ebook landing page. This often comes in the form of customer reviews, but there are other ways to include social proof on your page.

Yup, this is our baby. We created an ebook that busts the myths about how difficult or stressful it is to use A/B testing to improve your landing pages, then put together a landing page to showcase the ebook.

This landing page comes from another photographer-friendly platform. Photobiz is an easy-to-use website builder for professional and aspiring photographers who want to grow their business. Photobiz helps photographers showcase their portfolios, win over clients, and book more jobs.

Ah, another fantastic ebook landing page. This one comes from the lovely people at Taboola, a discovery platform for marketers and publishers. Taboola matches products, services, and messages to audiences and delivers relevant creative to the right people at the right time.

This page also gets points for its great design (it just looks good). Color is used to cleanly break the page into three skim-friendly sections, each with its own orange CTA button that pops against the background.

This ebook landing page was created by Impraise, a performance management platform for business owners and team leads who want to inspire and connect with their people. Impraise helps teams grow together by making it easier to have those crucial (but sometimes tough) talks about performance, goals, and professional growth.

As for layout, the page intentionally gives equal space to the ebook information and the download form. This balanced design allows visitors to scan for relevant information without getting pulled away from the download form.

This page was created by an agency called Rocket to promote Smarter Marketer by David Lawrence and James Lawrence. In this case, the offer is a real-live book, available as both a hardcover product and a Kindle download.

This example by Optimonk brings us back to traditional ebook territory. A versatile tool for online retailers, Optimonk uses perfectly-timed messages to help online stores drive sales and reduce cart abandonment.

Further down the page, the benefits of downloading the guide are spelled out even more clearly. The graphic below reminds online sellers that this content is, in fact, made especially for them and shows that Optimonk understands the unique challenges facing online retailers.

This vibrant ebook landing page example comes from Transform, a fitness company and app that offers personalized programs (including macro-based meal plans and one-on-one coaching) to help people live their best (and healthiest) lives.

By combining the principles of optimization with the magic of machine learning, Smart Traffic automatically matches each and every visitor to the landing page most likely to convert them. The coolest part is that after turning on Smart Traffic for this page, both variants saw a boost in conversions.

Reviews from other readers and testimonials from experts are powerful. Plus, 88% of customers trust online reviews as much as recommendations from a friend. The only caveat here is that any social proof needs to be legit. Your readers will smell B.S. a mile off.

As we mentioned in Step 1 on how to create an ebook landing page, starting with a template is the easiest way to kickstart your ebook landing page journey. Here are a couple of templates to spark some ebook landing page ideas:

I love front matter When I open an ebook I want to see all the good stuff the writer wants to include: title page, epigraph, publishing history, dedication, introduction, foreword and whatever else there is. I read all that stuff. I get annoyed when I get a new ebook and it opens to the first page of the story. I have to go back, go back, go back (sigh) to get to the real beginning.

Oh Jaye, preaching to the choir again I have to read EVERY line from the moment I open the front cover I want to see where it was first published, I want to see the author asserting their rights, I want to see what typeface is used and the ISBN number I want to see who they have dedicated it to and I WANT TO SEE THE GLOSSARY AT THE FRONT OF THE BOOK , am I repeating myself again

Nobody actually knows how this process works. It may only affect books that have the actual content following the ToC, but set the guide to a position prior to the ToC. For now, my advice is to have a ToC that come immediately before the opening of the story and set the guide item to the first html page after the ToC.

I leave it up to the writers to decide how much information is on the title page (except with Smashwords). Putting the legalities in the back matter is rarely a bad idea. I usually do that with anthologies, to make sure individual authors get all their info in. It makes things tidier.

Hi There, I am very very new to CRM, just trying to learn.

I am been browsing but I cannot find the answer, there is too much content and I am getting lost.

I have created an ebook that I am offering for free on my FB page, so people can download it and in return, I will get their email, so the question is; How can organise it within Hubspot? Where will I store the ebook? can I do it in Hubspot? and once people have downloaded it where the emails will be stored/collected?

I will appreciate if somebody can point to me to the right article/post where I can learn to apply it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Regards.

Juan

The next thing is you need to create a landing page if you want to have it on your website; you can do it from the website section (via marketing dropdown navigation). If you don't want to use the landing page; you can directly use the forms URL; there's an option to share the form.

You need to copy the URL of your ebook uploaded on your file manager. Either you can embed this link on your thank you page or on your inline thank you message on the form itself. Alternatively, you can set up the HubSpot Workflows to send an email with a link.

All the emails captured via form will be stored in HubSpot contacts. You can create a list to segment the contacts that you collected from that form.

Down the bottom about Download a file > Browse files, open up a window on the top right corner, but it says browse folders but doesn't give me the option to add file to choose a file from google drive, how can I sort it out, please?

Learning how to create an ebook can be overwhelming. Not only do you have to write the content, but you also need to design and format it into a professional-looking document that people will want to download and read.

Ebooks can increase the visibility and credibility of your business while positioning your brand as a thought leader in your industry. However, these ebooks can sometimes be hard to write, even though they offer many benefits.

Remember: The goal of your ebook is to generate leads for your sales team, so pick a topic that will make it easy for a prospect to go from downloading your ebook to having a conversation with your sales team.

For this blog post, I will use the PowerPoint version of template two from our collection of five free ebook templates. Through each section of this post, I'll provide a side-by-side of the template slide and how I customized it.
