Energy Affordability: Can Solar Help?

With rising energy bills causing real economic harm in PA, it is critically important to begin to restore energy affordability.  Solar has a key role to play in lowering bills and lowering rates for everyone.  This is the first in a series of webinars to examine the opportunities and policies needed to bring costs down across Pennsylvania.

Ron Celentano, President of PA Solar and Storage Industries Association (PASSIA), will provide an overview of how PA ranks in comparison with other states.  He’ll discuss main policies PA needs to catch up.

Balcony Solar:  Energy Affordability for Apartments


Balcony Solar
PA Representative Chris Pielli (invited) will discuss HB1971, a bill to bring balcony solar to PA.  The webinar will review the UL3700 Safety Standard and how balcony solar can immediately save money for apartment dwellers and others.
