Align your money with your values

Are you tired of seeing your money used to support fracking in Pennsylvania, oil drilling in the Amazon and the Arctic, and the construction of oil and gas pipelines and refineries? When we put our money in big banks such as Wells Fargo, Bank of America, or PNC, or use credit cards issued by Citbank, or buy insurance from Allstate or Liberty Mutual, we are putting money in the hands of the companies that are the biggest funders of the fossil-fuel industry.
Fortunately, we have choices. Learn how to align your money with your values through a series of workshops offered this fall by the Climate Finance Group of Third Act Pennsylvania. Eric Pumroy gave an overview during our fall statewide meeting. Each of the three workshops will focus on a different area of finance:
- Thursday, Oct. 30, 7 p.m.: Finding a Clean Bank. Register here.

We don’t have to let the big banks and insurance companies use our money to ruin the futures of our children and grandchildren. Come to our workshops and learn how to find socially responsible alternatives.
