Subject: There's still time! Join us for DEP's Community Climate Conversations!

If you still haven’t had the opportunity to attend one of our Community Climate Conversations,  you’re in luck! See below for exciting, in-person engagement opportunities across Pennsylvania this spring from our colleagues on the Climate Action Team!

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is planning a new round of statewide community engagement in 2026 as part of our Climate Action Planning. We are organizing Climate Conversations across Pennsylvania, including one in your area. These sessions are designed to listen to community perspectives on climate hazards, long-term Climate Action Plan implementation, and local priorities, and to share brief information about Pennsylvania’s Climate Action Plan 2024 and available state resources.

Each workshop will include a facilitated listening session and open discussion, followed by a short presentation. Our goal is to hear directly from community members and stakeholders about their experiences, concerns, and ideas related to climate and environmental challenges. We would appreciate your help spreading the word about this event. If possible, please consider sharing the invitation with your team and networks, including through newsletters, email lists, or other outreach channels. We also welcome any suggestions for individuals, groups, or community members who may be interested in participating.
