With the cost of electricity going up, the payback of installing solar is improving.

Until the end of 2027, munis, non-profits, schools, faith groups, and commercial can still receive the 30% credit if they are connected by their utility by 12/31/2027.

We want to get the word out about the remaining 30% credit for commercial/non-profit solar installs to everyone in PA.  In SE PA, we would like to notify, at least, the 44 munis that have set goals to transition to clean electricity by 2035.

In addition, several bills in the state legislature will improve our access to solar-generated electricity if adopted this year. If not, they will expire and then need to be reintroduced in 2027.

If you'd like to learn more and see what we can do, please fill in the following survey by Wednesday, February 11th. We'll schedule an introductory Zoom call the week of February 16th.

Clean Energy Survey (by Wed, 2/11)

We're lining up a solar mapping session on Thursday, February 26th, at 4 or 5 pm to work on solar estimates for the 44 SE PA municipalities and others, if there are enough volunteers. Anyone across the state can participate to learn the process.

Feel free to share with your EACs and others who may be interested.

Thank you.
