Dear Friends!

Our salvation rests only in God and God alone. I am saved by what Christ has accomplished through His crucifixion and resurrection. I am saved by God’s great grace. My salvation doesn’t rest on what I do or do not, but on what Christ has done for me. I don’t work for my salvation; rather I work out our salvation to live Godly as an evidence of my salvation and an appreciation for His great Love.

I am saved because of the finished work of Christ. All other religions on planet earth say, “Do!” but our faith says, “Done!” They say ‘finishing’, but we say ‘finished’.

So what keeps me saved? My security rests in God’s hand and in His alone. It is not my goodness nor godliness that assures me that I am and will always be saved? It is not me keeping all the rules and regulations of religion that keeps me saved? It is not how much money I give or how many good deeds I perform? No. None of these things are what keep me saved. They are expressions of my love to God because I am saved, but they are not where I place my security.

So when Paul wrote to Titus he reminded him that as a slave to God and an Apostle of Christ his responsibility is to help the chosen (The Believers) grow in faith and to teach them to know the truth that would help them live godly lives. In the second verse in chapter one, he reiterated that this truth gives the believers the confidence of eternal life which God Himself that cannot lie promised the believers before the believers ever existed. Before the believers existed, He promised them eternal life-assured!!! During their existence and transition to glory, He keeps them safe and keeps His promise.

".. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand".  John 10:27-29 (NLT)

So I say to you, "If you’re saved by the Saviour you’ll be safe with the Saviour forever. You cannot even snatch yourself from His hands".
