Members are encouraged to spend a few minutes getting familiar with Google Groups and trying out different functionalities like editing posts and replies, privately replying to a post, customizing your settings.

Feel free to add a new post! Even for testing purposes. You can always delete it if it does not turn out to be what you expect. 

With the above being said, I recommend changing your email notifications to avoid getting too many emails. I am using daily summary myself. Choose the option that suits you best!

再次提醒新加入的群友考虑设置email preference.

默认的Preference是all emails, which means 任何帖子有更新你都会收到邮件通知。此选项可能会对你本人造成打扰。

其它的选项有email合集（20个），daily update和disable, 建议大家酌情选择。
