Come along and take part in FREE activities at the annual Reading Cycle Festival running from 11am-4pm this Sunday - 14 September, Christchurch Meadow.

We are closely watching weather forecasts and currently still plan to go ahead with the event.
All updates will be posted on the Reading Cycle Festival website so check back on Sunday morning before leaving home!

Watch some amazing stunts
|

Fusion Extreme will be putting on some thrilling stunts. They will be running several shows during the festival. Be sure to get a close-up view

Enter our charity raffle and you could be the winner of a bike, generously donated by local bike shop AW Cycles. Tickets will be on sale only at the festival. There will be other prizes. Don’t miss this opportunity.

Bike not quite right? Bring it along to our mechanics
|
|
|
If you want your bike checked or you need advice on how to deal with a mechanical problem, the Reading Bicycle Kitchen or MT-Cycle Repairs will have a look and either make adjustments or advise on next steps. If you would like to learn how to do the basics, then the brand new Reading Bike Hub will show you how to fix a puncture or repair your brakes - all at the festival.

E-bikes are becoming ever more popular, efficient and accessible. Two leading local bike shops, AW Cycles and the E-Bike Barn, will provide a selection for you to test ride, including some catering specifically for family transport.
|
|
|
Kidical Mass will be putting on a leisurely, family-friendly ride starting and returning to the festival. You would be welcome to join. Their mass ride starts at 1pm. Join this great group - they're making space for the next generation, one bike ride at a time!

Improve your bike security
|
|
|
Take the challenge of riding our obstacle course, with sections for balance bikes as well as intermediate and advanced riders.
|
|
Expect food, funfair rides and facepainting
|
|
|
When you take a break from cycling things, you'll be able to enjoy some food, refreshments, fairground rides and facepainting.
|

Bike parking at the festival
Bring your bike and when you're no using it you can lock it to the railings which will be placed around the the festival site.
